one thing with these i’ve realized is even if it looks like they got a lot of lines it depends on how much lines the song has (example: it seems yuri has a lot of lines in party but she was 7th in the line distribution and in into the new world it seems she has very little lines but she’s actually 4th)

It depends on length of the song and how much of it is solo vocals
I don't know why but it seems like her voice was more powerful at debut? She seemed better than tiffany at debut. Like it seems after Genie, she started using a thinner, more unique voice, but it restricts her technique. Like, Yuri SANG back in the day, but now her voice seems more high pitched. Stylish, but a little weaker.

Yeah, thought that too. Same with Sunny and Yoona. In most of their earlier songs, they had deeper voices (?). But I guess after Gee, SM forced to them sing in a more higher pitch.
Kpop Slays true when I listened to Into the new world. I was like she is good and yoona also sunny. Gee was a killer for yoona and yuri and I listen to Holiday and I feel like sunny getting her deep voiceish back.
Ikr, I loved her voice during debut - especially in Baby Baby, she slayed those lines! Maybe SM thought her voice is too deep or too low? Apparently Jeongyeon from Twice doesn't get many lines because of that very reason, her voice being too low. Sometimes you can't even hear Yuri during lives, she sings so quiet :(
Its the same with the other members. I especially remember Yoona's voice in the early days sounds more womanly and whole compared now.
Yuri vocals are really good but underrated and she mostly know for her dancing but not vocals. And at the first 10 she didn’t have lines.
Yuri, at the beginning era she often (not always) got most lines among dancer line and sometimes surpasses the vocal line’s line distribution.
Time goes on, the songs like party, you think, holiday, and all night, SM makes she resemble like how dancer should be in Line Distribution. Love her! ❤️

Everyone said SM is unfair but actually they are fair.
Dance line : they sing less but they will get the rap, harmonizing and center in every chorus
Vocal line : sing more, they don't have the solo part unless they need to sing, they get the center when they sing only.
Yuri needs more lines with that gorgeous voice! #YuriFighting

My first bias, my forever bias. God I love her so much. If she wanted, she could be one of the elite vocalists in SNSD. However, she chose to focus on dance, but it’s amazing that she still has such vocal talent. What a queen.

But yuri sometimes actually have the most lines in the distribution like Mr taxi, if the harmonizing part is calculated. actually she is always singing the background music the most, if these background musics are calculated into the line distribution, her line distribution can sometimes be more than vocal line. She can slay, but it seems that SM want to train her as visual and dancer from the beginning.
I still remember how Yuri left everyone shook during Lion Heart era

Yuri’s voice was so deep and powerful in snsd rookie years after Gee blew up SM definitely made her use a higher voice for a few years. Her voice is still deep but she’s lost a lot of the power. Sm is so stupid
