AC Unity and AC Syndicate are the peak Assassin's Creed in term of assassination mission

Jacob was the last true assassin in my opinion.
Evie was the first character like alexios/kassandra where she isn't really focused on assassinating templars and freeing people, she's just interested in ISU stuff. Jacob was the last old style assassin's creed protagonist, where Jacob was more like altier/ezio, focusing on freeing the people and taking out templars, and only dealing with the ISU at the end of his story, and on occasion.

Syndicate is a good game, but evie was lame and she was an invitation for false and toxic journalism that hates on the game due to Jacob being the main character and the journalists wanted a girl as the leading hero, but the truth is that Jacob was more important and the primary protagonist, so the game got slandered. Unity was also good, bit unity was a bit broken unfortunately. Also loved playing as Jacob's granddaughter lydia in the ww1 section.

@@chrismoore5333 Personally, I feel as though Syndicate was the right blend of Evie and Jacob. They both had their time in the spotlight and had their own charm to compliment one another. Evie had her bigger stuff in the jack the ripper dlc but even then, Jacob got some time too. I loved the sibling dynamic, it made the game's story a bit more interesting tbh.

@@ThorneAndRoses Jacob wasn't even playable in the ripper dlc. Fact is the dlc was bias against Jacob. As for the main game, evie shouldn't have been available for free roam activities or side missions as all of that was done by Jacob in the canon, and it'd be hypocritical for ubisoft to get so upset over kassandra being canon, but ignore it when it's Jacob who's canon in stuff... Also Jacob was the primary main protagonist in the main game, but we still got to play as evie here and there. Jacob should've been playable here and there in the ripper dlc and then they'd be equal in how they are treated. In addition, I think evie was actually the most dull and 2 dimensional character in the game. Jacob wasn't always joking as some say, he was very serious when needed like with Roth, or Pearl, or the asylum, or with Starrick at the ending. Evie was out there saying "never liked balls" and "Jesus wore it better" during the final level of the game! She's not the character some say she is.

@@chrismoore5333 I feel like being able to play as Evie made it more versatile with who you wanted to tackle what mission y'know what I mean? I preferred Jacob to do some of the major freedom district stuff but I loved having Evie sneak through and assassinate some of the major templars and raise alliance with Ned and such. Maybe I just really like both characters though, it's different for everybody.

@@ThorneAndRoses I'll start by highlighting that you didn't address the hypocrisy of Jacob not being playable in evie's dlc story, meanwhile evie is playable in Jacob's main game story...
Also, while Jacob is all about leading his gang and being an expert at combat, Jacob is also all about taking down templars with stealth! Think about it. Jacob has 7 leading templar targets which he takes out in stealth focused mission design, 5 of those missions are black box levels which means the player can plan and chose different stealth options each time they play that level. Evie on the other hand only has 2 templar targets and only one black box level. Both of her templar assassination levels end in a massive and explosive escape, no matter how stealthy the player wants to be. I'm sorry but ned is one of those characters that feels like it was added souly for Jacob. In fact all of the accosiates activities are things Jacob would do, and evie likely wouldn't. Worse still for evie, Roth confirms Jacob is the canon character for all the accosiates levels, because those levels are the ones that can spawn gang leaders to defeat, and Roth says during the first level of sequence 8 that specifically Jacob was spotted taking down the gang leaders and conquering the districts of the city. Evie added nothing of value to the game, and while I would've said it was nice to occasional see a different character, I still can't give that to evie, as Lydia is in the game and she is far better at being a different character with a different concept to bring to the game than what Jacob does. Evie feels like she's there, but if you play as her to much, you'll end up running into levels that are clearly things she wouldn't do, and you'll even end up breaking canon, because most the content is written for Jacob.
