I rode this new trail about 2 weeks ago. A ton of people on it so I really couldn't get much speed on the downhill. Took me 33 mins to get down from the same spot you were at. It is indeed a good trail. Wish there was a way to make it a loop though instead of an out and back.
+OSUHARDING1 - A TECHNIC EXPERIENCE I have heard the same from a few people, that the trail is very busy. I would love to see a loop out there as well. It's a fun trail. Going to be sweet with some rain.

How long was the descent? Time wise?
