Broken Moon is looking like it took all the lessons Respawn learned from the previous maps and just combined them into one solid package.
Now, take crossplay off that sht is cheap af.....
And bring back solos mode. Period.

It's just stormpoint but the same size as Kings canyon which could work but I always hated how lumpy stormpoint was

Naw, he said it multiple, it's a little larger than World's Edge (which is quite a bit larger than King's Canyon)

Ikr, we just had a marksman weapon reaction skin (tripletake) , like we needed another sniper reactive skin, should've gone to the eva-8 , haven't had a shotgun reactive skin since Season 3

honestly i'm most excited about the new map rotations. No more sessions ruined by an hour of storm point :')
Sounds like moon and Olympus are my top fav maps, they sound very promising
But they gotta revamp or make drastic change to world edge and reduce the size of storm point
I'll take an hour of SP over any length of KC

@@matthewkapfer2464 it's massive, and aside from the very start of the map (if you drop hot) and the final ring, it's not uncommon to just... not see other players for the whole time. it feels like playing plunkbat

If you are wandering why there is usually a giant antenna building on many of the maps is because those are harvesters that geo forms the planet to make it breathable.
Stickers are such a bullshit way of filling up the Apex Pack loot pool with more garbage to pad having people who’ve been playing since day 1’s packs… Such a scummy money scheme.
I still think Olympus has been the most original and beautiful map in-game so far

What would y’all want your Apex packs to contain? If you hate being offered cosmetics why are you playing a game that only gives you cosmetics when you spend your money?
@@kirkendauhl6990 because it is a useless cosmetic, it doesnt look cool and you see it for like 3 secs. This is just another way of respawn trying to harvest your money for something that should be free
@@kirkendauhl6990 better skins, for legends and guns, as new weapons and legends get released that's enough dilution. We want to be able to spend our money on packs of needed and not get useless things like stickers and gun charms. They could also add unique voice lines, finishers, I don't mind the emotes. Etc.
I hope the ui and menu changes means we can finally favorite more than 8 items

Broken Moon looks like storm point and Kings canyon had a baby. Which to some may sound like the worst thing ever but I believe they could definitely combine both the elements and actually have a decent map cuz stormpoint was good you just could never find anybody and canyon had too little spots to rotate so you're always running into a different team and getting thirded
The new map is either going to be the best map in apex history or the worst and there's no inbetween.
It's either going to take the best aspects of stormpoint and kings canyon, or the worst aspects of both maps.
So it's either going to be a fun map with consistent action throughout and fair, well-designed pois or it's going to be mostly desolate until the final few rings where you get infinitely third partied.

@@BrickFort_ yeah if you've ever played Olympus or world's edge before you'll notice that those maps are relatively flat and not too many hills and you watch the same video as me does that map look like it doesn't have hills. yeah exactly
But why stickers? The cosmetic pool is already cluttered with useless stuff like holo sprays. Just lowering the chances of getting something good out of a pack. Map rotations should be awesome this season tho

I really hope they make some changes to Revenant and the other lesser played legends at least. If they just give cosmetics and new money grab items that’d be lame

It comes down to: “what kind of map do you want now?”
A smaller map is great for pubs. A larger map tends to be better for ranked.
I think KC and Olympus are just perfect for casual play, where you can get fast-paced games but it still feels like BR.
WE and StormPoint work for ranked and comp. And yes- SP does indeed work for ranked and comp.

Sp is not good for comp at all. You either fight the entire lobby in the beginning or you don't find anyone for the entirety of the match
Sooo, they didnt update the healing animations to be more expressive, but to showcase the models more for new cosmetic

They added new audio for the healing items too, which they didn't need to do

we haven't got a reactive shotgun since PC and now we get most hated sniper rifle? When almost everyone is asking for the nerf. Also skin looks just ok, literally got it mistaken for an epic skin at first

To be fair, the charge rifle reactive skin does look sick! (it's at 1m44s in the gameplay trailer if anyone wants to see it)

On stormpoint the entire NE side of the map is on such an incline and if you need to get up it for ring you've automatically lost
That is such a massive incline with 0 cover you're just doomed

I was hoping to see a cleanup of the gun charm list. And let's be honest, what guns are left to receive evolving skins? We're into p20 and mozam territory now.
30-30, Sentinel, Rampage, Bocek... we've still got a ways to go!

I just hope there’s some sort of environmental dangers to be cautious of like World’s Edge. I mean, think of the lava on WE. If they put falling meteorites in the gameplay, it would be fantastic. Now I know being close to the ledges on any of the map is dangerous, but it’s kind of lost its spark with each map being so high up. I’d like each of the maps (or most of them) to have some sort of environmental dangers you have to be wary of.
For example:
World’s Edge - Lava
Storm Point - Wildlife (some more would be nice)
King’s Canyon - Dust Storms (possibly)
Broken Moon - Moon debris
Olympus - Altitude? (probably)
This doesn't really work tho its just a aonnying thing that makes people hate playing take strom ponit prowlers are hated bc there just aonnying and make fights feel like 1 side gets a advantage at times
@@allseeingeye3182 yeah, but people also hate the open terrain that Storm Point has. So I though if there was some sort of filler, it would make the game/map more engaging. But still, even with the animals and the armories, its not enough if you spend half the game getting loot and then dying every 10 to 15 minutes.

In the gameplay trailer the so called r99 has 25 bullets and a sound change it has the same mag and sound as the Gemini coincidence I think not

I was under the impression that Seer went to Duardo to sponsor the games, given that he was trying to make it up to his people saying that it wasnt his fault. This was hinted at in the story for season 14, i believe it was chapter 14.
This was literally stated by seer, this season, in the comics that get released weakly.
I'm excited, but I really don't like the fact that there are no jump towers in this map. I feel jump towers are the only methods of mobility that serve to get you out of all sticky situations, the others can work, but are more niche.

I'm dreading Worlds Edge still being in rotation. People mainly only drop fragment and Lava Syphon yet it's still regarded as a great map in pubs. I get super burned out of hot dropping in two POI's. Even in ranked I still have teams who hot drop fragment.

The new map actually does look pretty good, I'm impressed. Significantly better than Storm Point at the very least. However, I'm disappointed that there's no new gun and no cross-progression.

In the firing range I've been practicing without aim assist (controller) and I turn it on when I go into matches
(I play PC with a controller)
It felt like I had 2x aim assist and I'm really proud because I have been getting over 4 kills consistently today
2022 is almost at its end, yet there are still no cross progression that they told us its gonna come this year, sad.
Remember, weapon charms and things like that are designed to dilute the loot pool when you open up boxes.

Imagine that you finally see purple or legendary in your packs after a while just to get greeted by one of those three, no legend/weapon/banner/stat.
