Clearly, she works hard while creating her videos. Right, there’s not really a door just a bamboo blind hanging any animal can easily get in especially a snake
She doesn't have to worry about bugs or snakes because it's bamboo and well sealed, it's pretty well built.
Fantastic and believe or not we all need to be learning these skills. We may need them sooner than later. I wld really like to learn some survival skills

It's bamboo, you don't cut it, you split it, it's also VERY resistant to rot

She went into the woods with a machete and came back with the wood poles sawed off on the ends. Good job! Lol. Still interesting build.

What happens when it rains? How do you keep it from filling up with water?

That soil looks like it's got a lot of clay. That water is going nowhere fast.
Your only hope is that the sod will absorb it.

The next step is to trench out the area surrounding the outside. Then replace the sod and cut drainage channels off the roof area. Otherwise, next monsoon season this all becomes an underground pool.
Even with French Drains like you described ground water and moisture would be a constant problem. Concrete basements have problems with ground water and without significant moisture barriers there would be standing water on her floor and her walls and ceiling would start rotting immediately.

I am guessing that area sees a lot of rain. And judging how consistent that soil is I'm guessing she's on a floodplane. Two reasons not to build a basement house with no electricity.

I believe she gets paid for this but I do think she would do well in an Indiana Jones movie. Also, she had help. The logs were all ready. I do appreciate her hard work and effort.
Wouldn't the wood rot or is the mud or area well draining? Also what about carbon monoxide? The small chimney doesn't seem sufficient. Maybe adding a few more bamboo outlets would work.

Ive seen alot of these & know someone who loved to dig and built a built in pool from a shovel. 😊 no dirt cemented after all around nit sure ecactly hiw but was amazed and swam un it .clear water and everuthing just lije a real built in pool😊❤
The ground is mostly clay no rocks, making it easier for digging 😮😊

It runs off all the static electricity that repels all the dirt from her clothes.
Notice how the knees of her pants are never dirty, nor does any dirt ever get on her blouse.
Only at the VERY end, when she's totally finished, does she have any signs of dirt on her clothes.
Her clothes are always clean and dry.
No sweat stains at all!
