i know a lot of people praise her expressions and over-the-top body expressions over sophia, but right before this scene she was literally about to commit su!c1d3 (censor for youtube). It doesn't make sense that she'd be so eccentric. On an unrelated note, what accent does she have?

keep in mind this is a musical and not everything is realistic and i wouldn’t say it is over-the-top, it’s just theatre acting.

I would agree if this was a movie, where acting can be much subtle, but they perfom at a theater where people in the back need to see your performance, so it makes sense that her acting is exaggerated at times
