This 71 y.o. has seen/heard many amazing comedians over the years with styles ranging from The Goon Show and Monty Python right through Morecambe and Wise to the current, observational. I love the bravery of comedians, even if I don't always admire their work. Les Dawson (Northern English) from the 70s is a historic favourite. More recently, Frankie Boyle's apocalyptic analyses in his annualised Autopsies can be deliciously offensive. But I would also recommend Dylan Moran (Irish), Kevin Bridges (Glaswegian), and Rhod Gilbert (Wales). There are also many other good, hard-working male and female comedians, but I mention just a few of my favourites. Glad you're enjoying doing a deep dive into what makes Britain tick - especially with that infectious laugh!
Our Taskmaster has done a few hilarious shows, if you ever get the chance to check them out, not the tame stuff he does on Live at the Apollo. One is called 'Firing Cheeseballs at a dogs head', another is 'The back of my mums head'. I can't remember the latest one.
Rodney Dangerfield was one of the greatest comedians in the 70s and 80s a lot of people get him but he was always on every talk show Johnny Carson and him got along very well
For surprisingly raunchy things that come out of the mouth of an actual British lady, see the Miriam Margolyes excerpts from the Graham Norton show. You might have to split it into 2 parts.
It was a less than 10 minute video, do you not sometimes just think it belongs in the trash. The title of the video you reviewed contained none of the elements claimed in its title, I'd have binned it
@@judsdragon cheers thanks for that... didn't watch to the end because I wasn't finding any of them funny.. It does annoy me though when someone titles a video and it's not as described. It makes it even worse when they actually admit it in the video and then go on to describe it as something it's not... she's lucky I'm usually quite brutal in a comment when this happens.
So happy that I got to see Jimmy Carr live; he is probably my favourite comedian. Some of the others in the video are heavy hitters to be sure, but Jimmy is, hands down, the best for me.
I live I Copenhagen but I'm from Newcastle in tge North East of England. I had to have my little finger amputed and part of my hand taken away after 5 botched up operations. When i called my best mate to tell him,the first thing he said was " does that mean we can sell the piano now,Al " 😂😂😂
Always love your reactions Amanda lol! After seeing this video I would say that Jimmy Carr is 1 of my favourites as he doesn't give a f what he says lol!
A few comments stating - These comedians ain’t all British.. No s£!¥ Sherlock ! but in lady rae’s outro (if you bothered watching) she does mention this. Amanda is literally reacting to videos that state what the content “Titles” say it will be. Literally Just proves a genuine live reaction from Lady Rae otherwise - What would be the point in her pre-watching footage (massive spoiler alert) just so she can analyse every detail making sure the title matches the content “Promoted” perfectly.. Leave it out, We’ve all been a victim of clickbate on here. 👍🏻
A little hit and miss, but can never really know without watching it. JC is my fave too, I'm hoping his new tour comes back to near me, I missed his last tour and I'm still upset I couldn't make the show.
Dunno how they can call that 'most offensive' when you have Tim Vine and Milton Jones in there, but leave out Bernard Manning and Chubby Brown. Steven Wrights' fishing joke was very clever. :)
Rodney Dangerfield has never been funny in my opinion. Steven Wright (Balding guy) only did a few stand up albums (officially) which was a shame he was funny. Mitch Hedberg (Long haired deadpan) sadly died way too soon but had the ability to be one of the GOATs. Jimmy Carr brilliant as always, and Stewart Francis (Commitment joke) is very funny too. (has done a lot on Mock the Week) The video didn't really showcase how good Tim Vine is, weak jokes. Only Tim Vine and Jimmy Carr were British. Good reaction as always Amanda, but I wouldn't trust the site you got this video from for future reaction content.
Title should be ; AMERICAN REACTS TO AMERICAN, CANADIAN, AND A COUPLE BRITS DO OFFENSIVE JOKES. (Rodney Dangerfield don't do tea & crumpets let me tell ya).
You want British..try Les Dawson, Micky Flanagan, Lee Evans, Ken Dodd, Ricky Gervais, Ben Elton, Ronnie Barker, Peter Kay,Bill Bailey, Kenneth Williams, David Mitchell, Jim Davidson, Freddie Starr, Mick Miller and of course, visually, Sir Charlie Chaplin and ,Stan Laurel from Laurel & Hardy.
I agree, Jimmy Carr saved that video, others that would’ve brightened it up would include, Dave Allen, Ricky Gervais, Sean Lock, Peter Kay and for quick-fire jokes, Ken Dodd🤔
Steve Wright is the best of all the comics on this podcast Ray..just give it a moment to sink in or watch him over again a few times.. One of your country's best darling 🇬🇧🇺🇲
Hi Amanda you know that most of these comedians were not British so I won’t bitch about it, I also know you have done a vid of Roy chubby Brown but it was a tamed down version, look up an 80s version of him and look up Jim Davison sinderella or just an earlier version of Jim, then you will see British at it’s best, there are more but I’m too tired to think of more at moment Do love your content though

Frankie Boyle's Richard Hammond joke is absolutely LEGENDARY.
Mitch Hedberg is one of my favorite comedians. "I am a heroine addict. I need to have sex with women who have saved someone's life"
He's great Jimmy ,he comes out with the most outrageous stuff 🙌
For stand up my favourite 6 are:
Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr, Rhod Gilbert, Sarah Millican, Micky Flanagan, and Greg Davies.
Hm.. I believe I've never seen any stand up from Greg Davis. Totally agree with #1 and #2
I would have James Acaster, Jack Whitehall and Sarah ofc.
Our Taskmaster has done a few hilarious shows, if you ever get the chance to check them out, not the tame stuff he does on Live at the Apollo. One is called 'Firing Cheeseballs at a dogs head', another is 'The back of my mums head'. I can't remember the latest one.
the guy who joked about commitment was Stuart Francis, who is Canadian.
I actually enjoyed this video a lot Amanda. Some great one liners in there and I had a good laugh.
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Rodney Dangerfield - on the Jimmy Carson shows, Stan Boardman, Bernard Manning, Frank Carson, Victoria Wood, Russ Abbot.
Amanda, you must realise that some of these aren't Brits.
You're right. Some smiles but no tissues required... for the tears! Of laughter! Don't forget about English lessons with Ricky and Karl.
As a fan of Milton Jones and Tim Vine,I have to wonder how on earth they ended up in a compilation of offensive comedians? 😂🤔
Most of these aren't British

Being american she must know that most of those comedians WEREN'T BRITISH
she does mention that near the end of the vid

0:08 Worst or most offensive?
Need to do a reaction to an only Stephen Wright stand up act
0:26 Dogs often find corpses.

Great editing and top
Appreciate it!

Rodney Dangerfield is so underrated but you only have to watch Caddyshack to see was a comedy genius
Yes, but why is he in a video of British comedians?
A few comments stating - These comedians ain’t all British..

Perhaps you might like to add Rowan Atkinson's portrayal of Toby the Devil? ! Very funny.
A little hit and miss, but can never really know without watching it. JC is my fave too, I'm hoping his new tour comes back to near me, I missed his last tour and I'm still upset I couldn't make the show.

Steven Wrights' fishing joke was very clever. :)
How did Franky Boyle not get a mention.
Fantastic video that sexy laugh and snort. The greatest comic of them all Sir Billy Connolly
Bernard Manning was the one for me. went to his club many times when he was alive.
Not many brits many Americans ect .
I agree with you....Jimmy Carr stands out, but some of the jokes didn't land for me
Rodney Dangerfield (my mother never breastfed me) is classic New Yorker comedy.
Rodney Dangerfield has never been funny in my opinion. Steven Wright (Balding guy) only did a few stand up albums (officially) which was a shame he was funny. Mitch Hedberg (Long haired deadpan) sadly died way too soon but had the ability to be one of the GOATs.

Amanda, this is " The most offensive British v American !😂 and the Brits WON
I wish I could understand Frankie Boyle
Not an offensive comedian but have you seen Rhod Gilbert - luggage
Jimmy Carr, Stephen Wright and Mitch Hedberg are hilarious on their own.
This wasn't the best collection.
Jimmy kills it each time
For me Rodney Dangerfield cracks me up loads.
Some of it was hilarious, some of it went right over my head.
Title should be ; AMERICAN REACTS TO AMERICAN, CANADIAN, AND A COUPLE BRITS DO OFFENSIVE JOKES. (Rodney Dangerfield don't do tea & crumpets let me tell ya).

Stewart Francis was the one Amanda said she likes. Chris Turner’s a legend.
Lady Rae, it’s been far too long since I’ve watched one of your videos. Love the content AND the snorts! Much love and be well
I recognised Tim Vine and Jimmy Carr , maybe a couple of others but certainly not a collection of Brits .
Stand up comedy is almost dead now. Far too many snowflakes that get offended by EVERYTHING.
I think I saw Chris Turner at the end and it didn’t paint him in the best light. Try some of his freestyle rap
Have you watched any of bottom?
like u said Jimmy Carr saved that vid, there was the odd good one now and then but the far superior material was all by Jimmy imo
Some of these, I'm like, how are they offensive
Maybe she was saying the British are offensive 😅😮
There were some Americans in this British videos. It was Ok, but not their best jokes.
Ne Bernard manning? One the very best
Was this clickbait? The only "offensive" comedian there was Jimmy Carr, the rest were tame.
I agree with you amanda, some funny some not
Hi Amanda some of it was funny some were a bit disappointing hopefully next one a better choice
I agree, Jimmy Carr saved that video, others that would’ve brightened it up would include, Dave Allen, Ricky Gervais, Sean Lock, Peter Kay and for quick-fire jokes, Ken Dodd🤔
Nice top
Steve Wright is the best of all the comics on this podcast Ray..just give it a moment to sink in or watch him over again a few times..
One of your country's best darling 🇬🇧🇺🇲
Only about 3 were British
👍👍
some were funny some were terrible
Only funny comedian is Jimmy carr
UK comics are the best in the world darling
Amanda, certainly not the funniest video. I think as you said "Jimmy Carr saved it"
😊 do lesbian jokes make you funny😢 and would you laugh 😂 I guess not 🚭🚫
Average. But I thought was British comedy?
Hi Amanda you know that most of these comedians were not British so I won’t bitch about it, I also know you have done a vid of Roy chubby Brown but it was a tamed down version, look up an 80s version of him and look up Jim Davison sinderella or just an earlier version of Jim, then you will see British at it’s best, there are more but I’m too tired to think of more at moment
Do love your content though
So the British comedians were pretty funny but the Americans, I n a video of British comedians(WTF?) were total crap!
Crap 😮😢
