I’ve got a mechanical tachometer somewhere that you can borrow just to see what your mill is actually doing. I have a meter that measures frequency. It should pick up the output of the transducer. The magnet my need to be really close to the transducer. Try setting it with just paper gap clearance. Does it have a spec? I never cared much for RPM anyway. If things didn’t cut right, I just adjust it. Other than a giant fly cutter, I virtually always ran full tilt.

Sure! Thanks!
Sensor black to pin 4, sensor brown to pin 1 (+), sensor blue to pin 2 (-). Were you able to get it to work?
Nope. It never worked. But I got a DRO that has RPMs that work now, so I never went back to this.
Are you making a metal version of the Jet robotec model that you 3d printed a few years a go? if yes please post videos!
No. I’m making replacement joints for a toy Robotec Alpha fighter figure for someone else. But you’re giving me some good ideas…
@@customfabrications I love the Alpha fighter as well. In America it was also part of the Robtech franchise, it was the third season.
