Coping with voices: Being with people

- Hearing voices can come in many forms - some voices are friendly, helpful, insightful and inspiring whilst others are scary, critical or commanding. This animation, produced in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford and the McPin Hearing Voices Lived Experience Advisory Panel, shares the stories of people who hear one type of voices: those which threaten them or criticise them. Our hope is that this animation inspires more conversations about voices, because nobody should be hearing nasty voices alone.

I hear a voice they really torment me. I found it so hard to talk about to others because the voice told me they would hate me. It's been a few years since I've been hearing the voice and I've come to terms with it. And I'm not as ashamed anymore
Please try listening to audio of the Quran. If you have a reaction, ie start shaking, screaming or just something not normal then you are probably affected by a demon, in Islam called a Jinni. If it is, then you can easily be cured. Best if you have someone with you when you listen to the Quran, chapter 2 is best (Baqarah or Cow).
I'm not trying to kid you, honestly, modern science doesn't recognise this phenomenon but Islam does. Let me know what happens and I can tell you what to do next. You don't have to live with this.
Glad to hear that things have got better, though please never be afraid to reach out to others for help and support. You can always talk to your GP, who should be able to recommend appropriate support. Take care :)

Hey there sunset, I want to pose a hypothetical to you, that organisms that exist without a physical body but are purely energy are playing a deception in your ear, that's what these voices are that you are experiencing. They've been around for a long time doing these deceptions to humanity. And those voices are not the only sort of deception that they play, if you want to see others you can look right here on RUclips, movements of the holy spirit, or Kundalini or any other trash like that. There is no such thing as a spirit, the LIE of spirits is tied into a grander lie known as divinity, that's primarily the lie that these things use in our society today although there are others. One big one is that there's something wrong with you, but there's not there's nothing wrong with you or biology or physiology at all to cause the things that you're experiencing it's only an organism that's trying to do you harm. Mankind's technologies at the level now where we can manufacture weapons to kill these things and that's what we need to do instead of turning to lies we need to stand upon our reason and our mental prowess and eradicate these things because what they're doing to you and others is unacceptable. You can make that piece of s*** leave you by the way, it has no right to be on your body, you can tell it to leave and make it leave, and it may spout all sorts of lies at you, that you're mentally ill, some sort of divinity lie that it's the devil or God or some trash like that or an angel, or some sort of magic type s*** which ties into divinity, but ultimately they're all lies and that thing has no right to be on you. I caution you though, do it far away from your house and then leave that location quickly as you don't want the thing just coming right back and getting you stuck in a cycle of defeat thinking you can't get rid of it. You can make it get off of you, Stay strong sunset.
As with all things it is always good to hear "There will be good days and bad days. And that's ok"
Absolutely :)
People that don’t have to worry about being harassed and tormented in their head by angry voices are so blessed to be able to live a normal life without being controlled by voices that won’t go away this worst nightmare i ever had to go through

I have had that experience, and I am still hear it sometimes. I heard more voices threatening to kill me. Sometimes the voice said negative things about me, sometimes the voice make fun of me. And that makes me become more frighten. And Sometimes I avoid being socialize with most of the people because I could hear the voices among them and couldn't help myself. So I have to be alone by myself most of the time. And I don't know why this thing happen to me.
