Suele pasar en las lenguas románicas, en francés por ejemplo dieciséis se dice seize, no se dice "diez-y-algo" hasta el 17. Es probable confundirse. En castellano empezamos en el 16. Y para colmo, muchos confundimos la pronunciación del 16 (sixteen) con el 60 (sixty) en inglés. Son errores comunes.

Ashen one // errmm i kinda disagree. english throughout canada, the uk, australia , and america are very similar and can be understood when traveling to those countries easily. there’s different slang; that comes with growing up in the country, but that can also be understood with context clues and process of elimination.

I've never commented, pero derretistes mi corazon ( but you melted my heart) so I'm compelled to admit que te amo frivi. I love your pronunciations too. Spanish was my very first language then I grasped english and it dominated my speech patterns so I had to start relearning my working knowledge of spanish for almost all the jobs i've had over the years (highly people and communications oriented work background) its been tough but I love it.
