If you’re wondering why there’s no footage of him singing live forever it’s because Noel and his team wouldn’t allow any Oasis songs in the film, especially the One Love performance. Must be embarrassing for him that his brother turned up to support their home town after a horrible tragedy while he was nowhere to be seen.

Top Notch, Mega, man! This is so much better than his brother, Noel's, current solo music...Without Liam as a vocalist Oasis in the 1990's would never have happened. Yes, Oasis were a blend of the two brother's talents, but look at the difference between Liam's music and Noel's since Oasis broke up. Liam's is far better. Noel is not a great singer and rock and roll personality in the way that Liam is. A lot of the success of Oasis had to do with Liam's charisma. I liked Oasis so much that I named my only child after the lead singer. In 2003 when it was time to name my newborn son I named him Liam. (Not Noel, for God's Sake!)
You’re right, the group needed Liam’s rock n roll swagger. But the big picture is that Noel single handedly wrote all the great Oasis songs. Writing even one great song is very hard to do and a lot of work. Having singing talent is lucky and genetic and not as much work. So in the big picture, Noel had the more admirable talent of the two. Liam hires a team of songwriters for his solo albums. Sure, Noel has lost his songwriting magic, but so has Paul McCartney and most other aging rockers. No one is saying Liam is a better talent than Paul McCartney. But one thing is for sure, would rather go see Liam live these days than Noel, more passion and fun in the music.

Looking forward to watching this but I hope the benefit concert is not just a point to talk about Liam Gallagher. It's pretty dreadful if this is seen as something that worked well for Liam. It's a benefit concert for a very tragic event.
