Tweek beat himself here. In the seph game Tweek intentionally let the bell hit him because the recoil would stall him a little longer. He then botched his recovery due to the angle bell sent him at.
The second Quidd switch to Pacman Tweek changed his entire gameplan and started camping. This was a horrible decision because Pacman was the better character for camping, and Tweek wasnt commiting to camping hard enough. I've seen Tweek do this exact same thing so many times. The second something changes, Tweek tries to change with it. That would be great, but his change is almost always slowing his pace down. Unfortunately Tweeks beggest asset is his consist punishes and reactions, his tight combo game and impeccable ability to get stock earning strings. Playing slower greatly improves the opponents odds of reading the situation and exploiting Tweeks weaknesses. Always hate to see Tweek do this. Defeat himself.
I agree, it's best to pressure pacman so that he doesn't have time to get his best projectiles. Tweek also didn't seem to know how to properly deal with hydrant

It's a very common Pacman setup. I do it all the time lol but hey it can catch you if your guard is down.
if you roll into the ledge before you up b the hydrant will send them towards the blast zone and kill sometimes!
he failed it. if you do it right you roll through the hydrant and then upB. then the hydrant launches the enemy into the blastzone. if you do it like that you can stand on the platform and do an upsmash but he didnt combo the hydrant setup into upsmash from the platform

The commentators don't really know anything about Sephiroth, all I hear is "hurr durr hes lightweight". "Sephiroth's out of shield" Sephiroth has no out of shield. ALl he's got is nair which can probably be ducked, out of shield is not Sephiroth's strength. Close range is not Sephiroth's strength. If you can hit it bair is probably one of his best moves. Most of his moves aren't safe on shield. Sephiroths biggest weakness is rush down to abuse his bad frame data.
If his biggest weakness is rushdown, then why does he beat captain falcon, Roy, chrom, etc. It isn't his biggest weakness
He loses to characters that can beat him where he is comfortable

tweek forgot wolf has a reflector. mightve been too deep into his game plan it didn’t feel very free flowing it was very reserved and defensive. it works w sephiroth but wolf? w little to no reflector usage? idk if that works very well. ig we’ll see when i watch this last 1m25s

With all due respect tweek deserved to loose this one. Last two games he tried to camp set up character. His all tactic was counting on quidd impatience. I love tweek but it was a bit dissapointing(and boring imo).

How come wolf reflector didn’t work at the end?
I think since the reflector hit the hydrant, but didn't do enough damage to get it flying off, the fsmash's hitbox was prolonged and made bigger by the hydrant basically... or the hydrant just hit him.
The hydrant has its own health and he didn't do enough damage to send it flying

Point is, WiFi proved that accessibility to offline tournaments is a big factor is seeing talent. There are a lot more people who are good at smash but simply don’t do offline events.

I’ve noticed that during other sets and tourneys they’ve commentated. I’m unsure if it’s too be inclusive towards all gender groups? Maybe it’s easier to commentate by saying “them” and “they” so he doesn’t get confused? Or maybe he has no clue what he is saying lol
@@GMZ5000 commentators cast dozens of matches every day and it's easier to get in a rhythm of just saying "they" because you don't always know the gender of the player, obviously not for the more well-known people but honestly no one really cares

@@battom9290 There's more to it than that. Hes very setup heavy and requires careful use of his specials to control the battlefield and buy time to prepare his Fruit. His combos can be pretty mashy but they also tend to require precision as well. Not saying Pac is impossible to play or whatever, it's just that people don't really give Pac players the credit they're due for the skill needed to play him at competitive level.

Seph needs spacing for good damage and keeping players out, but I’m lost on what he has to do to play the waiting, campy game? I guess bc of online it’s slower paced with the input lag and such, but there were moments he was just standing still or holding shield for a while like? No hate but ig it’s the matchup that’s got me confused
