Another Day Another Hot Summer Vacation Day Railfanning At Wells Station With 683 With TwoHU’s & 686

Well here I am back Railfanning on the pan am/CSX Portland subdivision with no manifest freight trains in sight at wells Amtrak station in Wells, ME which I haven’t been here like two years since 2022 which that last time I took a train ride on the Downeaster and I still have those videos of that so why not go check them out. While I was enjoying my McDonald’s Big Mac meal for lunch I started hearing announcements that Downeaster 683 was coming and the signals came on and it was coming. Looking from the distance I saw something that looked like a dark blue color and that’s when I knew that it was Amtrak 100 midnight blue leading and Amtrak 90406 trailing and they were still paired on both ends which I knew I was gonna catch them again. Then a couple hours later saw Amtrak Downeaster 686 with 90220 leading which was on 684 I think that I rode on two years ago which it’s very strange it has a be steel bell. This was one of the awesome best things to end my vacation and I am definitely coming back for more Railfanning at wells next year and I sure hope to catch 100 again in New York so stay tuned, and as always sit back, relax, & enjoy.
