Gentleman EDP is my choice because it's more interesting. Love the pepper, vanilla, balsam, iris combo. I can smell this on my shirt for days.
Can u wear it in daylight?

Just picked up 5 oz bottle of DHI. I have to say it’s definitely a masterpiece fragrance. One of my wife’s favorites! Will have to try Givenchy G EDP.

Just got DHI and is stunning.
I also got DHP and that’s in another league.
DHI has tte bad luck to be shadowed by DHP.
Givenchy Gentleman EDP, I owned, and sold because it has a chocolate smell that I didn’t like. Longevity was short on my skin.
I was afraid of Iris notes because the lipstick association to it, I wasn’t into it and getting GG, I was disappointed.
Now, with Dior Homme Intense, Eau for men, and Parfum…. I am hocked.

I love the drydown of the DHI more, and it last longer. But I like the GG edp too.

I was expecting an insane fragrance battle asking women on the streets which one they prefer more on a man. Then it’s just your opinion… Great video idea, these 2 fragrances are both heavy hitters and both iris kings.
An idea: Why don’t you ask women you know or women on the streets which one they prefer more on a man and make a video out of it. AND then on top of that your opinion too?

I had the DHI and it was stolen while travelling. I bought the Reserve Privee and I have to say that the both are really really similar. The iris is great in both but I think the DHI is a bit stronger. You won't go wrong with either and I never replaced my DHI because I already have the Reserve Privee.
I tried it when it was first released and loved it. That whole line is incredible.
I have Givenchy and I love it.

Cole I’ve been really into Iris for awhile it’s one of my favorite notes.
I have the givenchy but it was my least worn frag. Was thinking of buying dior but i guess ill do it next time. Btw your number one on your spring list arrived today and uhh thank you? It smells really good on my skin and gotten 4 compliments today at work. I am very pleased ☺️

Is Givenchy G Edp worth it in 2022? How’s the performance (projection/sillage/longevity) on the 2022 bottles?
Absolutely. The entire line is fantastic. The EDT would be the only one that performance wise isn’t the best but just an excellent underrated everyday work scent.

Gentlemen edp Is better performing but smells more like an old granny than DHI in my opinion. Also DHI is lighter, more refined and much better balanced.

Hahaha touché Tony. If I had to choose one to keep in my collection it would be the Dior but I do love both. Definitely the Dior though.

I dont think it would be too much but I also havent tried it.
So I ended up buying the gentleman Givenchy EDT intense last week and I really love it they did not have the gentleman EDP available for comparison I only compared it to gentleman Boise and just Givenchy gentleman. If you have time to answer what is the major difference between the gentleman intense EDT and the gentleman EDP cuz I'm really liking that line and I may have to hunt down the EDP
I would say the intense EDT is a bit fresher than the EDP. A bit easier to pull off so I guess you could say it’s more versatile. Spices are amped up and iris pulled back a bit. A really great scent to be honest the entire line is impressive.
Great review on both I like both as well but the Dior is My favorite smells really appealing to females so does the Givenchy but on different occasions and levels Givenchy is most definitely the most versatile out of the 2 tho

on my skin they're like two flankers of the same fragrance with one being more powdery (homme intnse) and one more woody(gentleman edp)..I personally like givenchy more..

The reserve Privee is the best in the line hands down. I have both DHI 100ml and Reserve privée 100ml and back up bottles of them. You never know with these silly companies and discontinuation of great fragrances.

is it redundant to have Valentino Uomo Intense? while having both DHI 2020 and DHI 2018?
I would say no DC. Although they both have iris Valentino has far more woods than DHI. I think they are different enough.
Which Givenchy would you get between EDP and Boise?
For me Dan the EDP is the standout I like it more but the Boise is more versatile if that helps. Both smell great.

Privee has a prominent slightly sweet booze note. Really great fragrance can't go wrong with that or the EDP!

I tried givenchy and really liked it, with just 2 sprays do you think i can wear it on college in cold fall/winter or it is really just for night dinners and special occasion
You would be fine wearing during the day to class. Just do a couple sprays and it will work great.
Dior is amazing...but at the end of the day I sold my 5.0 oz Dior intense...Givenchy all day for me.

i have DHI currently and ended up smelling gentleman by givenchy today and definitely smelt similar but i found gentleman more wearable to my nose do you think i could get away with making gentleman my day to day signature scent?
I definitely think so. It’s way more versatile than people give it credit for and it’s also more wearable than DHI I agree. If you work in an office I would just cut back on the sprays.

I love the dhi but its weak. I spray it on myself before bed. Very overrated. I do love the smell but I will not be buying another bottle.

Two very different smells. The Dior is fantastic but overall, I prefer the Gentleman line. The Gentleman Boisee is more comparable to the Dior actually because of the woodiness in both but they're still both really different, although similar. I love them both but the Gentleman Boisee is my favorite from either line.
I used to have DHI and it was my fav frag until I got Dior Homme Parfum. I tried a new bottle of DHI and it’s just not the same, it really lacks the « oomf » it used to have, it got really toned down sadly.
I’ve wanted to get my hands on DHI parfum for awhile. Hopefully soon I’ll grab it.
C'mon Man, thats me... 😂😂😂😂😂 I wore DHI from 2013 to 2019 when i put my nose in DHP... DAAAAMN... What a masterpiece. i dont Care about niche scents anymore, DHP is my absolute number 1 dead or alive 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 PS: DHI still my absolute number 2.

So the iris in both is similar. However in the Dior I feel it’s far more intense for lack of a better word. Also the givenchy definitely has other things going on. I pick up the patchouli and some spices. I would say it’s not redundant to own both.

But… For me… Valentino Uomo Intense is better then Dior Homme Intense.
And… For a woodier Iris fragrance. Prada L’homme Intense, which is 1B to my 1A Valentino Uomo Intense.
Prada L’homme Intense and Gentleman Boisee are more comparable then Boisee and Dior Homme Intense..
