Jennifer happy Wednesday & thank you for the new video. I have to point out that you made a minor Faux Pas by selecting the word Savvy. It is NOT a word in English even though it is used as one, it is in fact a Latin word that is also used in French and Spanish. SAVVY is 1785, slang, "practical sense, intelligence, knowledge of the world;" also a verb, "to know, to understand;" a West Indies pidgin borrowing of French savez(-vous)? "do you know?" or Spanish sabe (usted) "you know," the verb in both from Vulgar Latin *sapere, from Latin sapere "be wise, be knowing" (see sapient). The adjective, of persons, is attested by 1905, from the noun. Related: Savvily; savviness.
Thanks Jennifer, most of English teacher in RUclips are teaching about grammar, but you are different, not only grammar but also teach us about words that native speakers use everyday. Because I'm learning English so I can communicate not only for study.
Everyday i study with your vivid lessons. Others must take your experience over. We are all in interdependence. Be sure you are doing very important and prosperous work. 🎉
You are fantastic and this channel is great. The videos are very well made and everything is explained very well. The best place on RUclips to learn English. Respect for your work. Thank you and best regards
Teacher Jennifer, That's right! This lesson isn't dull! It's engaging!👍💪 I gained super helpful everyday words to speak excellent English.😎 Thanks for sharing this video to elevate my vocabulary knowledge.🧡 You rock!🤩 Let's go!👍
Hello, Jennifer.😊 5 words out of 15 were completely new to me. Good to know them!Your 'show and tell demonstration', like No.1~4, was so impressive and helpful. It turns out that you're quite savvy about teaching English. I tenaciously tune in to your channel so that my English skills don't get rusty. Let's go!That's right!!!Shoutout to Jennifer❗😺🥳
I know some of them, but the most useful thing is how to use them in various context! Teacher Jennifer thank you so much for this amazing presentation!
I'm very eager to watch your every new lesson. In two shakes of a lamb's tail, I put aside everything I do and sit down to watch it. It's a real hoot, isn't it!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like you, Jennifer, you're natural and I love that. Your choice of vocabulary to teach is perfect. The only downside I notice is the real world examples you bring for each word. It would be best if you worked harder in finding, I wouldn't say better examples but stronger ones that serve the meaning and the context. I'm learning a new skill from your videos; how not to forget the words I acquire.
Of course I knew the word "Tangled", because of Rapunzel. I also knew "Hideous" because my days are hideous without videos of yours So I see you in the tomorrow's one.
A famous quote from the movie "Scent of a woman": in the movie, the male lead met a young girl and offered to teach her tango. The young girl hesitated and said, "I am afraid to make mistakes." The male lead told her, "There is no mistakes in tango, not like life. If you make mistakes and got tangled up, just tango on." I enjoyed the movie very much.
I'm unexpectedly understand I can know the meaning all of those words without a translation to my native language, just following your description of definition. You're my favorite teacher 💕
Ma'am i actually wanted to request you to make some videos on grocery, clothes store, offices, gardens inside car, at road, in the park, in the wood, mechanical things etcetera .. 😊 because i like your teaching so much ma'am
15 out of 15 here those are really everyday common words but a little out of the way for intermediate learners, kudos to you Ms. Forrest best and llively english ptofessor in YT
Let’s go, let’s go🎉🎉🎉😍 That’s right that’s right, 😍 wow I discovered you and your channel just 2 days ago You are a treasure I have the feeling that my English will improve rapidly because of your videos❤❤ We all appreciate your efforts thank you very much .
I have never used these 5 words before, today I learned from you for: Feisty, Frugal, Hideous, Flimsy, Tenacious and Preposterous. Thank you Jennifer What are the different meanings of Winkled and Creased?
"Winkle" is a verb and it means remove, eliminate, rid. So "winkled" means removed, eliminated, rid. Winkled also means wRinkled. "Creased" it also means "wrinkled" like a creased piece of paper.
Everybody can get rusty when they don't practice their profession or whatever they studied, that's a fact my friend so don't worry you're not the only one. 👍.
Rusty, Tangled twisted, untangled, crumpled crumpled paper, crumpled shirts, wrinkled Small lines or fold, flimsy light and thin, feisty ,savvy, vivid colors, vivid dreams, hideous ugly, frugal careful to use it.lavish more than enough, necessary reasonable ,vigirous,
Unsubscribing to your channel would be a preposterous idea, as you tenaciously upload amazing videos every day. I don't want my English to become rusty. Whoo hoo! 🥳🩷😘
