I was there recently and found a route a bit more direct but not necessarily easier than walking from Lands End. I found a rutted lay-by on the road which heads down to Porthgwarra, where you walk down a narrow track heading west form the lay-by. Takes about 30-40 mins...!
Hi, I gree with you about how to get to Nanjizal by far the prettiest and most straightforward walk. I was lucky enough to see it years ago when the sand was there. Still love it though and the sand will come back one day. Happy travels!
@@TrippingCornwall It was amazing I will admit and so much easier to walk around. Nevertheless stormy seas come and take the sand, sometimes for a short while and sometimes for years, but it will return one day. I still love Nanjizal even when it is as it is now. Really like your vids BTW I have to agree with your feelings about Newquay. The town is so different now but to walk the beach at low tide towards Watergate Bay is one of my favourites. Keep exploring and if you are ever down in Cornwall again take a visit to St Nectan's Glen(out of season). Google it first to see if it's your cup of tea. Safe travels x
Forgive me Tripping Cornwall I though i would check out more of your videos and found you have visited St Nectan's glen already. I'm sorry it was so busy, it really does spoil the experience.
@@_PGBUZZ I'm lucky enough to live in Cornwall :P I just never got around to checking out all of what our county has to offer until last year, and theres still plenty to see! It was a shame about St Nectans Glen being busy, but in general I dont like crowded places so I would have been put off by it where ever we visited :) Thanks for checking out the videos by the way, I visited Tintagel today to see the new bridge! I'll hopefully have a video of that up in a few days.
@@TrippingCornwall You live in Cornwall, lucky boys. You have probably mentioned this in previous vids. (I'm a newbie)I hate crowds too, I will be checking out that Tintagel vid for sure. Best wishes.

Only just saw this comment, I bet the beach looked so much better with sand! Still a great spot though!
