Tripping Cornwall
Великобритания
Добавлен 24 апр 2019
I was born and raised in Cornwall, but only recently have I decided to start exploring the various beaches and natural wonders the county has to offer. I figured if I'm out exploring, I might as well take a camera along with me to share the journey with anyone who might be interested!

A short cruise to Norway!
Просмотров 155Год назад
Back in April I took a cruise to Norway and back for a week! It's a stunning country, and we definitely want to return one day! Unfortunately the cruise line don't allow drones on board, so my hopes of getting some incredible aerial shots of the country were cut short. We still loved our visit, I just had less of it to share with you guys! #Norway #pandocruises
Sun, Sea, Onewheel - Porthleven, Cornwall
Просмотров 289Год назад
We recently took a drive down to the Helston/Porthleven area for a sun soaked Onewheel ride! It's the perfect area for a walk, a bike ride and by the looks of it, some body boarding! trippingcornwall #cornwall #onewheel #floatlife #onewheelgt
Porthoustock, Cornwall

A quick walk around Porthoustock, a beach set between 2 quarries! The stand out feature of this beach is definitely the large concrete tower. It used to filled with rocks, ready to be loaded straight onto ships! Instagram: trippingcornwall

OneWheel Talk - GT Ride/Thought my XR Died
Просмотров 363Год назад
Thought I'd try out a potential new video style for the channel, as well as give an update on my XR (the sensor decided to die on me lol). I'm still conflicted about getting a GT, but it certainly is an incredible bit of kit! #onewheel #onewheelgt
Little Fistral, Newquay - DJI Mini 3 Pro
Просмотров 146Год назад
It was a pretty dull looking day for the weather, but it didn't stop us from taking the drones out for a quick flight around the area! I'd usually avoid Newquay, but spots like Little Fistral are perfect for a quiet walk before the busy Summer season kicks in. #cornwall #djimini3pro
Wave Watching at Cape Cornwall

We wanted to make the most of a rare day of sun in the winter months, so headed down to Cape Cornwall to watch the waves smashing into the rocks! Instagram: trippingcornwall
DJI Mini 3 Pro - First Impressions
Просмотров 958Год назад
While it may not be perfect, the DJI Mini 3 Pro has impressed me over the last few days of testing. Drone enthusiasts will likely stick with their larger models that they already own, but new pilots or those looking to downsize should be very happy with what the Mini 3 Pro has to offer! DJI Osmo Action 3 - First Impressions
Просмотров 3,1 тыс.Год назад
After toying with the idea of getting the DJI Osmo Action 3 for months, I finally picked one up last week! I need to have a few more sessions with it, but so far at least it seems like it will easily replace my GoPro (which is what I've been using to record videos for a couple of years now). I'm keen to see what people think of the footage, as I'll be using this while out with the Onewheel, as ...

St Michael's Mount was recently featured in Game Of Thrones - House Of The Dragon! It's an incredible area so it's easy to see why it was picked for filming - and by pure coincidence I was there recently with the drone! trippingcornwall #Cornwall #gameofthrones #houseofthedragon

OneWheel Sessions - Abandoned Army Camp
We loved living there back in 2000 but just all holiday homes now. Our lovely New Zealand Hunterway Sophie would run that beach every day. Her ashes are scattered in the dunes. The place she loved best.
There is a shelter in Devonport Park which is open. It's been fenced off but you can still get in. Near the Torpoint ferry.
Beautiful. Going there in June 25. Can't wait 😊
Enjoy!
Looks like the weather is the same in both places
I’ve loved this beach since I was around five. I’m now 72 so that’s a long time. I’ve moved to Scotland and we have some amazing beaches up here. In both area you need to be very aware of the tide times. Plus watch it doesn’t fill in behind you and please watch your children at all times.
Going on this air base, they will just ask you to leave.
me and my dad visited this mine last month on a rainy and windy day
Such a beautiful part of our England and many happy childhood memories of wonderful holidays.
Going there 1st July parkdean site, can't wait 👍
Who owns Bodmin moor
Where is that road at the beginning, with the car parks all along the way? Be an ideal mobility walk for an elderly relative?
Hi Paul, it's North Cliffs/Hells Mouth between Godrevy and Portreath, its a decent walk but there can be a lot of loose stones etc to look out for 😊
@@TrippingCornwall many thanks, I’m getting senile in my old age lol, we are staying north of Newquay this year. Having walked the wonderful section of those North Cliffs, I saw your great footage, and said to the wife. “There’s a section near Crantock, just like North Cliffs. If I could find where it is it would be great for your elderly dad” AND it is the North Cliffs, lol. Thank you for at least trying to educate an old fool!
@@paulburnett1344 lol no problem! It's probably my fault was using drone footage of North cliffs in a video titled "Crantock", at the time I was trying to give some interesting visuals as I tend to ramble on for way too long about all sorts!
AWESOME.....THANKS FOR THE REMINDER😊
Very comprehensive review. New subscriber
The mystery beach that you found was Porthchapel. Had the pleasure of living in the valley ( house with solar panels on) . Was our local beach. My Grandparents lived at Porthgwarra . Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching it. Hope you do many more. !!
Can anyone bring a drone or do you need permits?
It's been a long time since I was there, I think you have to request access through the DJI app before you can fly
Absolutely stunning place to live and visit
Nice video and we are going down to Cornwall in June this year (2024)staying in a cottage in Redruth for three weeks this year. I went out on my own for a bike ride (64 then, 66 now), the day before, I went to the coast and turned left towards Hayle. The next day (this video) I turned right towards Portreath from both from Tahidy park. This was on my HEAVY E-bike (peddle assist) and it nearly finished me off. Take a look if you like and see my suffering 😉. I am going to try and do it again this year, but record the two valleys before this video that was gruelling so record all of it next time. I’m also going to drive to where you started this from and do this one you did in this video. Great video and it has given me ideas for other places to ride. I first went here in 1975 as a child fir holiday and its my fav place on earth.. when the waters out its magnificent as you can see. ❤❤❤❤
Amazing drone footage chaps It is a truly magical place Botallack, highly recommend a visit, plus 'The Queens Arms' pub is an added bonus for a decent Cornish cider!😉
Really miss your videos Trippy. Hope you're well
Hey mate! Sorry I haven't uploaded in so long, its been 1 thing after another lol every time I think about filming or editing, something gets in the way or I get distracted! I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things in the new year 😅
I love Crantok beach both my children live in Cornwall now. But when the were smaller we went to this beach. We’d watch them float past us on their rubber rings. Go up back to the top of the stream and do it again. They would do this for ages only stopping for food and drink. It’s a lovely beach and doesn’t get as crowded as the others😊
Excellent camera and sound, almost felt actually there. THANK YOU
Just wished I could have bought some fish when I visited Cadgewith. Lovely place though.
Great done footage, especially the Lighthouse.
I was there recently and found a route a bit more direct but not necessarily easier than walking from Lands End. I found a rutted lay-by on the road which heads down to Porthgwarra, where you walk down a narrow track heading west form the lay-by. Takes about 30-40 mins...!
It's a fantastic, kid friendly beach. Plenty of parking if you know where to look and plenty of exploring and different things to do at different stages of the tide. Also one of few beaches that gets wider nearer high tide than low tide.
Great video I really enjoyed the stunning scenery
Sweet memories of family holidays. My sisters and I , when life was simpler . RIP Janet and Jeff 🙏
I love the Lizard peninsula.
it has been destroyed..please believe me,once so wonderful....now nothing...blame the so called money men....have they got rid of all the japanese knotweed?????
I walked from Mevagissey to Penzance around Christmas 1992. Porthoustock had a really eerie feeling to it. I felt uneasy.
Beautiful 😍
Beautiful area and views. Have sent you a DM on FB. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Hi Trippy, catching up with the video's as when I was in hospital the videos from all the channels really piled up, it's been hard trying to get the pile down I need to watch as more keep coming out lol. What a cool place historically speaking, thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Hi did you ever upload the Mevagissey Coastal Walk Part 2?
Hey mate, I think it was this 1? ruclips.net/video/Dca8CHlmB5U/видео.html&ab_channel=TrippingCornwall
Locals pronounce it "Caj with" as in Cadge a lift. Great video again.
Bit of pronunciation butchering going on! "Meneage" is pronounced men-ayg. Basically, land of the monks, a reference to its monastic past. Great work. John
I struggle with English most days, let alone Cornish areas lol
went to bude in July and August for the first time and it blew my mind 😊 amazing place never stop planning my next trip down from Liverpool the journey is well worth it 👌 😊
Glad you enjoyed it mate! 😀
Dear <Tripping Cornwall>, I am writing to inquire about your permission to use your video clip. This is <Talkpawon 25hrs>, the Korean TV show which is broadcasted on JTBC (Korean TV channel). With your permission, I'd like to use your video to introduce Portloe. It will be broadcasted at 9PM on 24 July 2023. Thank you for your kind attention and look forward to hearing from you.
Hello :) Yes, feel free to use the video. It would be good to have the clip/s credited to my channel, but no worries if not! I'd love to watch the programme if its ever available on RUclips?
@@TrippingCornwall We'll use your video with the credit you have mentioned while the video is being aired. But I'm sorry that it will be hard to watch our show abroad, because we had decided to not broadcast the show in other countries due to the company policies and the other properties. We regret not being able to give you a more favourable reply, but ask for your understanding. We wish you all the best and much success for your activities. Best regards, Talkpawon 25hrs
moved to North Devon 17yrs ago not that far from Croyde but still only been once, stunning drone footage might have to pay another visit with mine now i'm close to retirement.
Rad video - appreciate letting us across the pond tour Cornwall w u
My pleasure mate, thanks for watching!
Oooh looks a great spot. Made it as far as Bude last week, maybe we'll hit up your area next!
Oh nice one, Bude's a great spot!
@@TrippingCornwall met Matthew who's moved there and a mother of our gang Nick, video up if you'd like to check it out
@@redboyjan Sweet, I'll check it out!
I look forward to your videos, but we've all seen hundreds people's legs and feet riding a OneWheel, seen one you've seen them all. I watch your videos for the unique and beautiful scenery. Before she passed away earlier this year, age 92, I was sending links to my Mother to watch, she enjoyed them too.🍻
Sorry for your loss mate, hope you're doing alright? :) I'm actually in the process of selling my Onewheel, so no more legs in the videos lol I'm trying to get into better shape, so I'll be walking and cycling a lot more moving forward which should hopefully show a lot more of the scenery!
@@TrippingCornwall Kudos to health workouts, but you'll be sorry when the OW is gone. OW is not without it's exercise element. Can't you do both?
@@oldretireddude I'd like to keep it, but its had issues twice now within 3 months. I can't afford to keep sending over to the US, and don't have the money or knowledge to convert it to a VESC. Unless FM make an official repair centre in the UK, its the end of the road for me :(
@@TrippingCornwall Sorry to hear that.
@@TrippingCornwall Hairball idea; get yourself an Mten4 EUC, those are probably sold and serviced in the UK, then attach your OW frame and footpads to it, just lay them on the Mten4 footpads, fix them so they don't slide around. ruclips.net/video/XaZ3fLbTVBQ/видео.html
Many happy memories of this place. Great vid!
I love it there, just wish it was closer to home lol
Epic spot to float! Beautiful coastal area, awesome video 🙌🤙
Thanks for saving us 8 quid
No problem lol
Very inconsiderate moving those tyres about . expecially if you have to walk all the way back to the path.
Stick to the path I guess 🤣
Just hit on this by chance. Really nice video of my adopted (many years ago) hometown. We've covered a lot of the same territory here, but approached it in different ways. Subscribed.👍🤝😎
I absolutely love this video, I keep returning to. The colours are gorgeous. Thank you ever so much for sharing 🤩😍
