We interviewed Kike Llanes; Permaculture designer from the Permaculture Research Institute in Australia, graduated in Cultural Anthropology from the Uned, and co-founder with Helena Sánchez of the Rhizobium project. (rhizobium.org/)
An organization that through education, production, and design, aims to contribute to the transformation of our living spaces, our way of producing and consuming food and our interactions with the environment, while proposing alternatives to industrial agriculture.
Kike has traveled many countries working on social and ecological initiatives.
We will talk with him about his projects, environmental news, design in Permaculture, and agroecology.
We will address the need for a change in the habits of consumption and nutrition of society, the difficulties in the implementation of agroecological models, and the ineffectiveness of institutions.
As well as the possible solutions to the indiscriminate use of fertilizers, herbicides, and chemical pesticides; the worrying advance of the cultivation of transgenics, the contamination of water, the threat of invasive species, the progressive deforestation of our forests, and the generalized destruction of the ecosystem.

Interesante lo del “Pestalotiopsis microspora”. Al parecer han descubierto su capacidad de descomponer el plástico en 2011. Y por qué no se utiliza como remedio para eliminar el problema de los plásticos. Será que la industria que los produce, aunque se escudan detrás del tema de reciclaje (que no sirve más que para perpetuar la cantidad y seguir produciendo con plástico), se opone. Todo un mundo de intereses de las multis encumbradas, para que las buenas ideas se pierdan con el tiempo…una pena
