Hi Kevin, I saw that you did not put the drive shaft bearing shield back on, I did the same on my fiesta by mistake, will it be ok without it. Thanks 🙏
I'm planning on removing the gearbox on my Mk6 Fiesta ST150 to repair some rust and replace a failed gearbox gasket. This video gives me more confidence and ideas on how to approach it but I'm a little paranoid about the engine falling off the jack.
Sethorion99 the engine mount should keep that engine in place if that ever happens. But nonetheless you should take extra car under the car. Keep in mind I do this every day and I take longer making sure the vehicle is safe than the actual repair itself.

Dear Kevin, have you ever changed the D-bushes on the fiesta anti roll bar, I’ve heard they are a. Pain and you need to drop the subframe, and that’s not something I’m looking forward to doing, I have read that you can undo the front nut on the clamp, prise open with crowbar, slide old D-bush out ands then close the new bush with lumber pliers and hopefully this will sort out the issue, I also have ordered the rear bottom gearbox to the subway mount. The old lollipop mount is severely damaged. There is play in it and it clunks when changing gear and going over bumps. So I’ve ordered the part, a cercio part. Yout
