- Philadelphia International Records is in the 70s and 80s with their Philly Soul partly responsible for the disco hype. We speak with Earl Young, drummer for The Trammps and the inventor of the disco beat! And we get a tour in the studio where Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff made music for among others The O'Jays, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Teddy Pendergrass, MFSB, Billy Paul, Patti LaBelle and Lou Rawls.

Philadelphia international records needs a book & documentary.
There's a book. It's called House on fire and there are a few box sets out there but I hear what you're saying. They need to be a full lift a documentary on them

The drums are the most important instrument...next is the bass when writing a song
Many Disco hits were a reinterpretation that was working great. And the Disco song I wrote was first planned to sound like a 60s James Brown hit until I turn into a Philly feeling: ruclips.net/video/dkYsw5Bwa8k/видео.html
