Anyway i am using instead of the turn thingy the D-Pad to drive(on playstation 2 controller). That way you can drive normally

yeah im getting my hands on this, finally need for speed has some real cars,im sorry import guys, if i play a racing game i wanna play with a muscle car.
Yes I have, I even got my driver's liscense and I drive a BMW from the 3-series.
But I just asked if it really is like that or that I just see it the wrong way.
My experience is that GTA IV has quite realistic car driving. (not speaking about some bugs (swingset) and cops, etc.)
Maybe it's because of the camera that is really fixed to the car in this game, in GTA IV for PC you can control the camera yourself, maybe that is the thing that makes it look more natural.
There are some, GRID etc.
I dont want to look em up, but they're out there.
i Could make a new vid and show my driving skills, but i dont feel like it.
I was using analog driving mode thats why the car goes all weird.
also noticed right away, the freaking map was made from portions of the maps from the previous games
this game had so much potential, I do hope Hot Pursuit can back up its hype

the real question is: what resolution? my 8800GT walks all over the 3650 (9500 would be around the same as the 3650) and I cant even play it maxed out at 1680x1050.
Keep in mind too, he's got lag because of the recording too.
and whats that when you run the game in the loading screen. on the upper part of the screen that says main menu - options - video or something like that
I know the shadows pissed me also of, so i just put them out totally.
In the shop for about 475€.
you also got 3 years of warranty on it.

i never played need for speed undercover befor. one question why do people try to avoid hitting walls and other cars what happen when you crash you get totaled or something?
can you add plugins to this thing?(like playing with one of those controllers that look like a ps2 controller but has numbers instead)
where do i change the graphics settings? and i how do i play with a logitech controller because all i can play with atm is keyboard.

I was actually tempted to get this game for PC now that its only 10 bucks at Gamestop. I just might now after seeing this vid. Anyone else played this on PC and if so how does it compare to Most Wanted or Carbon (don't get me started on ProStreet, ughhh)?

No, I have the 8800GT. Plus, 4GB RAM, e6750 @ 2.66GHz... I don't know why, but it looks and runs like crap with all of my friends PC's. Some are about the same in specs, some much better? It runs the same on my PC with all settings turned to MIN (including resolution), and all settings on MAX (incl.max.res) - constant FPS drops, sudden FPS jumps to 60 and back to 15-30. I hear some (they are definately a minority) run the game OK & smooth. Weird considering the sys.requirements:P4&1GB RAM etc :/

Well it depends, if it's portable or not. If it is, if you want to place that much stuff into a laptop, it's gonna cost ya.
It's cheaper for desktops since the pieces are bigger and you can just remove the old ones and mount the new ones...

according to MW it is not so easy to handle heat level 5 fr beginners, so in this game is it pretty easy to play on heat level 5 in this game?

No matter if it isn't on the Wii; I would play it in the XBOX 360, that's my preferred "rival" console. Heh!

@naruto2ken thats a good PC well but a nvidia geforce 9100 is a bit outdated. its a simple process to buy a newer model like frmo 9400GT-> 9700GT and installing is easy.

Prostreet isn't boring as long as you don't play with a keyboard. I've played with a 360 controller on my pc, and I am currently using the awesome logitech MOMO wheel. It's fun with a good controller. And that's your problem, you only gave it 5 minutes. You didn't get to the drags, drifts, awesomely intense speed challenges (basically going straight for 12 miles at 250 mph), and then wheelie challenges which I never even got to. There may be more than that that I haven't gotten too yet.
lol yeah shadows do look pretty unrealistic and they move with the car for some reasons. the game would of looked better if it was dark throughout the game like ND 4 SPD underground with shiny roads and stuff
@EJracerboy15 what i mean is CHASE is in that 370z cuz cops r searching a suspect & the driver is her.if u don believe it...why we hav to ride 240sx at 1st mission & why not 370z?
Somethings there will be alot of them and sometimes none. I would scale it at about -7.

Carbon was just like Most Wanted but dark setting. (Night) same intense and awsomely fun game
and most wanted was one of the best cause it had some special cars...the most aufful game was nfs pro street... and undercover is most wanted story and pro street graphs...
I like its highway battle (though it is really hard)
I think in my description many people say that undercover is an "inferior version of most wanted".
This one. Carbon came out before ProStreet and then this one came out.
but framerate issues are alot in PC version...and the game freezes sometimes when you customize your car...i recommend the console versions (patched up to 1.1)
the handling is wierd and a bit like juiced 2 at the start, but as u get better cars and get moving faster it feels more normal

Its better looking than the older NFS, but it feels and it is the same type. Nothing different, only better graphics.
Also REALLY WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY, it looks as total different game and its 100x nicer graphics.

hi! on my laptop, this game has really bad graphics! -- way worse than this vid... so i looked in the preferences (of the game) and pumped everything up to the max! ... but then the game had a HUGE lag... do i need a new graphic card, or is it always like that... HELP!!! thx

umm. from what i saw here this game seems pretty kick ass to me. i seriously want to get this game. so if this game is so good, why have i been hearing rumors saying this game sucked? it seems great on this video!
You can get it for 10 bucks for PC now brand new. I just got it the other day. It plays almost exactly like Most Wanted did, except with some technical issues here and there. Still, not bad for 10 dollars.
And it's miles better than the PS3 version, which is the most technically inept game I have ever seen of this generation of gaming.
Try doing this
Set sound quality to low
Set shadows to low
Set world effects to low (you can set it on high if you want but its reccomended to set it on low)
When WE is on it pretty much blinds your eyes
