Great alternative 🔥 but if it’s a busy gym it’ll be extremely hard to get a full session on it as the smith machine is a really popular machine, at least in my gym
Depends on your height and if the head room is enough. I know with mine, it's not. Plus I would rather have this than break my Smith Machine and lose $1500
Just got mine in. Do you wrap the bar twice? Cause I only wrapped mine once and bar is thinner than the bar I previously trained on. Switching to thinner gave me some tendinitis so was wondering if if double wrapping helps. Thanks
It really needs to be stated in the product literature that this isn't a beginner's tool. It's not tall enough to train for front levers. I'm 5'10" and I can't lock my elbows without my back being on the floor. The Rogue Mil pullup station is fantastic, especially with rings. Gornation's parallettes and dip bars are fantastic.
Always coming back with good stuff man 👌🏻♥ i need your help bro I was Training for the planche and front lever for a while, and then I developed pain in the upper left wrist joint, and in addition to that, pain in the Ulna bone when I was unable to grip the parallel bars and other things.
I would recommend to try different grip widths/ on different surfaces (you could do the it on the ground for example where you don't have to grip as hard). If it still hurts, I would stop training it because the pain will only get worse. Instead, I would do exercises that train movements and muscles used in the planche like front raises with a pause in the planche position or handstand pushups/overhead presses and dips.
What's your experience with the shaking, is it noticable during your front lever exercises? Does it reduce your hold time or reps compared to a rock solid bar? Can't wait for my bar to arrive and test it out myself.
Only noticeable on uneven ground or when I do dynamic exercises like a pullover or muscle up even then it’s not bad, in a regular hold it doesn’t shake for me
Just bought it a few days ago, can’t wait for it to arrive
Is it stable?
@@freshdt5672 yes dude it is perfect I love it so much
Quality as always
Much love man 👊🏾🔥
A smith machine can also be used as the same thing, thats how i simulate that bar

sounds like bullshit@@TheJackedVegan
How tall are you?
what size mm on the bar?
Reminds me of the base bar. If only you could do pull ups on it it would be perfect
