My dad has this whole album on his iPod and I first heard it while playing it on a road trip. This was definitely my favorite song since it always brings a smile to my face. :)
Too bad there is no credit, at least on here (don't know about the record). This is a cover of the swedish singer Monica Törnell's Svensk Sås ("Swedish sauce") from 1978.
Came her from a vid with composer of svensk sås: Bosse Norgren, playing his own song in a way that was, according to the composer himself, inspired by Todd Terje's fast version.
This album has 3 outstanding tracks which are really under rated. Shame the rest of the album is just o.k This guy is brimming with talent and it shows. Hope he can continue producing unique stuff like this , as the music industry as a whole needs artists like Todd to push bounderies and experiment , because to be honest a lot of music today is starting to sound bland.
brian rathod He's lumped in with the nu-disco genre, so you might find some artists you like by looking into that. I haven't really heard anyone quite like Terje... but if you like this album you might like (Hans-Peter) Lindstrom or John Talbot. Ray Mang is pretty good too. He's an electronic musician, not much like Terje sonically, but his album mangled really draws from tropical and Latin rhythms albiet more overtly than Terje does on It's Album Time.
Dan from ShortCircuit sent us 🖖🏼🤙🏼
Hi Dan Crowd!
yep
Dan is the goat
Quircky music is the best kind of music.
Yes
this song is the bright pink umbrella that you get in your drink
+Cooper Hardee Or the "rumba opening act" you'll find at a trasatlantic show bar.
+Eduardo Romero D that's what I thought. I thought this song sounds like a mixed race Miami rumba band with a sense of humor.
This sentence is sublime
This music is the only thing able to make me sincerely smile in this time of my life. Thank you.
***** You make your own happiness.
THE SAME FOR ME!!!!
Same
This and Alfonso Muskedunder are the best songs on the album
I would never prance to anything else. Thanks Ryan Springler ❤❤.

impossible not to smile hearing this
I cannot stop listening to this song if my life depended on it, it's just too much damn awesome in a 160 second time frame!
word
Todd Terje - of everything I've heard, which ain't a LOT, but a little - makes perhaps the coolest music I know of atm.
Gros coup de coeur ! 80's, latin jazz, techno. Groovy à souhait, emballant, joyeux, entraînant. Tout l'album est très bon.
This song is the definition of acapella
I didnt know this was a capella until my friend told me. 😳 bravo
except for the piano?
This song reminds me to be myself! Truly
This song is just what I needed in my life.
Mon plus gros coup de coeur des Eurockéennes ! Merci !
This song makes me want to smile and dance. ❤️ Terje
When that bass drops...

GRANDE todd terje
all ma support for this.
This reminds me of old school arcade fighting games. This could be in Takken or Street Fighter!
Sounds like something that would be used for a montage on better call Saul or breaking bad.
Beautiful, simply beautiful
This sounds as if it could be the intro to some Nintendo game.
Det är för bra för mig
Holy shit when is this gonna make music for Donkey Kong country they sound so similar but Todd brings that sound to the next level
Hey! free replay button here 00:00
I associate this song with the days where I'm feeling a bit manic lol. Not a bad thing, love the tune.
Love it!!
Gives me a Rayman vibe
GOD THIS IS TOO SHORT T.T Wanna listen to this for 10 hours
Svensk sås for the win
Idk, but something in this song is also really really makes me sad

Reminiscent of the great Pat Methany's 'Letter From Home'

0:30 seconds bar 25
ahah!! really good..
too short :(
Ever heard of replay ?
Zappa anyone?
jamestraver8 Definitely.
jamestraver8 Almost too much
a very positive and optimistic tune :) Maybe invite Urszula Dudziak (famous for her "Papaya") for scatting instead of a sampler?
Of maybe Monica Törnell who sang the original.
Samba vibes anyone?
Dan from Linus Tech Tips brought me here :P
played it 33 rpm on my deck. think this track is better that way.
Agreed
1/3
Dj Andy that's so right
for real! I couldnèt figure out if it was a misprint, cause it just sounds way better slower. I want to record it like that to play digitally
Similar songs/albums/artists anyone?

There's one problem. I can't get Alexa to play the song because I can't say it. I even put it into google translate😂
it's pronounced "sven-ssk saws"
