I am 67 and l cannot tell you the joy it gives me to see a younger generation creating something new. Jazz can never be corporatized, it will always belong to the musicians and audience. So much cool stuff coming out if the UK right now plus other stuff like Snarky Puppy.
I'm 47 and this stuff coming out of the UK makes me feel like 20 again. So much talent. Have you listened to Alfa Mist or Tom Misch? Also very good stuff ✌
@@hilpi75 Yeah there’s lots of good stuff isn’t there? and l also heard DOMi and JD Beck from the US. Seems like young creative musicians are finding an audience all over
Something new? Are you sure?? How about Fela Kuti meets Blue Note meets George Duke, just for starters.
Oh boy I just saw the word "شادی" meaning happiness and JOY in Farsi, my language in the background!!!!!!!!!!! HOW?! THAT'S AS AWESOME AS EZRA COLLECTIVE!
They work so well together! My favorites. Femi is a beast on them drums! EZRA COLLECTIVE TO THE WORLD!!!
I'm good friends with femi
@@remz8907 Give that man a Pat on the back from me ✌ The way the whole band plays off of each other is so amazing. Especially James and Joe 😂
Jazzy and funky.... what more could you wish for?
The guy in the red playing the trumpet went to my school. Kingsdale foundation school and recently left as he was in sixth form. He is really talented. Mr Karp!!!

3:28 drum solo 🥁
These guys are great and I really enjoy them, but they seem pretty reminiscent of some of the great jazz funk groups of the past and I might reserve the adjective new that seem people are using for them to some of the London, New York, LA,… groups that are pretty seamlessly integrating middle eastern, east asian,… influences into jazz.
Nice left handed Warwick Corvette
Damn, who knew the power rangers could jam like that.
Femi dude ... How?
