"Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh Commemorates 10th National Handloom Day with Cultural Extravaganza"
The Department of Textile & Handicrafts, in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, will mark the 10th National Handloom Day on August 7, 2024, at Abotani Hall, Ziro. The celebration will begin at 11:00 am with an exhibition of traditional handlooms, inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Nyato Dukam, Hon'ble Minister of Textile & Handicrafts, and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Mohesh Chai, Hon'ble Advisor to the Minister of Textile & Handicrafts, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
At 4:00 pm, attendees can enjoy a fashion show and cultural program featuring performances by local groups and a special appearance by Miss Arunachal 2024. This event aims to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh.
