- This is a remix of Touhou 8 - Imperishable Night's Extra Stage Boss Theme (Original: Reach For the Moon, Immortal Smoke), done by Magnum Opus. It's from Disc 2 of the album 東方幻朧悠月抄 ～Imperishable sin and millennium history～ (Touhou Genro Yugessho ～Imperishable sin and millennium history～).
The character in the image is Fujiwara no Mokou.

I think Mokou's theme song is more fitting for metal arrangements than kaguya's, that of course doesn't mean one is better than the other has such is simply personal taste.

This is my favorite Magnum Opus song because it has riffs from at least 2 Dragonforce songs and that's badass. The piano is from Where Dragons Rule, and other parts are from Evening Star.

I also hear a bit of Where Dragons Rule at the beginning. Also awesome.
Not just that. Large portions of the song are very familiar to Dragonforce songs. Yes, the first 30 Seconds, but also from 2:32 to 5:02 and from 5:30 to the end is all derived from Dragonforce as well.
It's certainly well put together, but there's a definite inspiration from Dragonforce.

Actually, Mokou can beat Kaguya Already.
But Mokou with Dragons' Force (Plus her "phoenix-like nature") Is overkill.
This song's awesome. And then I looked at related videos and the first one was a remix of Satori's theme. Seeing as I ship Satori with Mokou, that made my day.
Mokou with Dragons' Force is sure to beat Kaguya!
I wish the main theme of the song was played by an electric guitar.. Would be 10x more epic..

Cool remix, but it would be nice if the author would actually credit Dragonforce here since he did use at least three of their songs here. Where Dragons Rule, Evening Star, and Fury of the Storm from what I can hear.

@Bowserian Dragonforce is a pretty good rock band, best known for the song 'Through the Fire and Flames'. However, most of their songs have the unfortunate problem of sounding a LOT alike, at least from my point of view when I heard them. Hope THAT clears things up. Unless they were already clear...

If anything, the Dragonforce makes it better.
I see many people refrencing dragonforce. I'll admit to liking the band but; 1. This is touhou, not dragonforce and 2. I see people refrence Mokou to dragonforce due to the phoenix, however you all do realize Meiling would be a much better character to refrence them to if it werent for the fact her song is so relaxed? (this is just my opinion, feel free to disregard it.)
