Ilia is a picturesque seaside fishing village, at a distance of 8 km SE of Edipsos with crystal clear sea, green mountains, without humidity while at the edge of the village there is a thermal spring that flows into the sea.
Just 2.5 hours from Athens, the picturesque village of Ilia with its clear blue waters and abundant greenery is the ideal place for your vacation.
It took its name from the temple of the Sun (Helios) Apollo (where the Oracle of Selinontius Apollo) which was built higher on Mount Telethrio. Picturesque and welcoming, it welcomes vacationers every summer who are attracted by the diversity of the landscape. The tourist can be accommodated in hotels, rooms to let and studios and enjoy a variety of seafood, which with so much mastery the professionals offer.
