Midge is a massively underrated musician with an incredible voice.

1986 I was 19, I’d been dating the prettiest girl from my school for 4 years. Remember this playing in Playa de Las Americas in a club in Tenerife, when we were on holiday. Still one of my happiest memories.
I remember actually watching this on Totp in late 85, hearing the host say November just makes me wanna say Hay please don't rush though this amazing year or the 80s itself coz your never get it back. Happy days. 85 was an excellent year for music. In 2 years time this song will be 40 years old. Mad Hay. Never forgotten the 80s, I'm still there in spirit.

He's lipsyncing here but saw him perform at a small local venue earlier this year. He was self-deprecating about his voice but it sounded very close to the recordings 40 years ago. Magical.

I absolutely loved this song when it came in 1985. I was in the fifth form in school at the time out but couldn't find a single other person who was struck by it. Looking at the comments here I'm glad to know I wasn't alone.

I always remember cruising around on holiday in Suffolk in England in my cousins Alfa Sud and hearing this for the first time. I still have the mix tape I made on that holiday in 1985!
