This video has the perfect amount of cats
no such thing as enough cats

I’ve lived in Jordan for 3 years before and I can tell you that stray cats were a common appearance around cities
@@Beep-Man okay but how do you get anything done when you could be petting them?
TheCatOfWar the cats would spend their time picking through trash bins and as a result they were filthy. But you could still take nice pictures of them :)

hahaha yeah
yeah, different places... different cultures. which is always good to see i think.
Btw im from jordan and yes taxi drivers will talk to you about everything and 80% is bullshit and lies so ye maybe its not the best idea to talk about equality with these guys you can go to the high class people and talk to them about equality and woman rights

@12:03 so thats where the truck that was parked on cache went.

When you mentioned that Syria looked so peaceful it reminded me of a quote about how from space earth looks incredibly peaceful because there are no physical borders separating countries

Really looking forward to the other videos about this trip, always love this channel's content when it comes. Thank you Philip, Jordan looks like a fascinating and welcoming place.
7:51 “Bro I’m on 200 ping and frames are dropping can we call timeout”
I literally live there, glad you enjoyed your visit!
I look forward eagerly to more travel videos you have in the future. Your gorgeous footage and insightful commentary really makes watching them such a great time!
This is the first video I watch of you , and as a Jordanian I’m so thankful for your nice words ! Even tho there are lots of places yet to visit and lots of things yet to try , this video showed me the tourist’s side of the visit , hopefully if you’re ever to come back you can try visiting old cities such as As-Salt and get a feel of what it’s like to live with a traditional family!
You have such a soothing voice. This was a pleasure to watch
*a man was giving me nasty looks then i realized that he was probably thinking that i was taking pictures of the woman's washroom*

Thank you for the video Phillip! Insightful and a great watch
philip man your film making is amazing. the music kicks in at the perfect times. i feel like every aspect has been granted equal attention . which i rarely ever see other than... on your channels.
Yay more vacation stories!
Oh my god! I never ever expected for you to come to my country! Glad you came!
Great video @kliksphilip I think most of us are interested in seeing more!
I'm feeling hot just watching this video! it was hilarious seeing you float in the dead sea, I'm from Israel so I've been there once, you're a true man of the people :D
Holy shit they made de_dust 2 into a real place.
i didnt think deserts or sands were real
Yeah this is actually the place from Jojo part 3.
the reason why i love your channels because it felt more interesting and makes me wanting to continue to the video, great stories and experiences, its just perfect
Jordan is a incredible place whose People and King are extraordinary! Visit and you will never be the same. The Dead Sea , Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba....all beautiful and amazing ! The Holy sites bring you nearer to the Bible. The Food is unlike anything you will taste. This American from Chicago absolutely loves Jordan and you will too !!!!
Everyone asks where is jordan
But nobody asks How is jordan :((
woah they made a country based on dust? damn, nice!
You wouldnt think it, but i have never felt more safe than when i was in Israel for a week, and i live in Norway, considered to be the safest place to live. And there is so much history there, so touring with a guide is awesome
This is one of my favorite videos of yours. This and the Wadi Rum Desert video.

Great video! Im comming to Jordan next week and i was pretty afraid about the trip, but your video made me more excited about it.
It's nice seeing someone reliable making a video about the middle east :)
It truly is :D
Indeed
This was a really damn detailed and effective video guide. I never knew that Jordan was safe. (I've been misled that that whole Eastern area was full of conflict!) Keep up the great work.
>"I've been misled that the whole Eastern area was full of conflict"
Thanks America.
there's a few countries that stay away from that shit, like UAE, Oman etc.
We are safer than your country.
tbh i hate how the media portrays the middle east as "desert go boom boom" and not as actual cities with actual calm people doing their business. its actually safer than a few American states like Florida.
7:55 That right there is a happy man, glad you enjoyed the trip overall, regardless of the negatives.
I love these videos. Thanks Philip

Glad you had a great holiday, well deserved :) thanks for sharing
i never thought this would ever happen but it did and i feel really happy and proud that you picked Jordan out of all the countries in the world especially that i'm Jordanian as well and i actually saw my house in the video
this is EPIC.
Omg, they made the map Mirage from CSGO in to a real life city!

Loved this style of video Philip. It would be great to see more like it
Fun Fact: the temple in Petra was the one used in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”.
I knew I recognized that
the first 40 seconds sounded like you were being held captive and was calling your family to say that there was nothing wrong happening.
You got tons of Jordanian fans my man, including myself! Glad you enjoyed your time here!

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. The lost city of Petra is the highest on my bucket list, somewhere I simply must go before I die. I heard you were in Jordan from another video, and I've been eagerly anticipating hearing of your adventures. Wow. Just wow!
meanwhile i've been to 3 cities my whole life
If they had historical value then thats good.

I have only been to 3 houses and a school!
Wat cities. Nice hamtaro btw
This place seems incredible, I didn't realise that Jordan was so safe
You know it's safe when they openly welcome Israeli tourists!
oy vey
4 tourists stabbed yesterday
Seems much better than Egypt, except for maybe Alexandria
@@TyyyJ as an Israeli i'm pretty sure we can only go to Petra
It’s nice knowing you had fun in my country, thanks for the kind words ❤️
I learned a lot and was entertained, thanks Philip!
Take a defuse kit for maxium safety.
fyi, suddle sexism in Jordan would only be experienced when you work or meet up with someone who grew up in rural places, in your video I noticed you visited mostly cultural hotspots but its pretty chill if you decide to go to the heart of the city and not just to downtown amman and shit
Glad to hear you enjoyed your time at my home country, the new Ryanair route sure brought us on the map!
A friend and I went earlier on this year, during Ramadan, and it was absolutely incredible. I'd highly recommend visiting during Ramadan, because it took the change of culture to a whole new level. I also think that your photo of the King Abdullah Mosque was taken from almost directly in front of the hotel we stayed at in Amman!
For some reason the car wheel getting sprayed from the drainage cracked me up
I was thinking “I wonder if he tried Kunafah” 2 seconds later it’s a clip of you eating some.
I’m not sure about the origin as I’m not from Jordan ( from UAE btw) but I just thought that if he’s gonna visit a middle eastern country he’d probably try it or at least hear something about it.
Ah, you remind me of the good times I've studied there. I recognized some of the things you showcased here. Sweet memories.
Hey I’m in Jordan! Glad you came here
you mentioned so many times that you felt safe that I started to feel unsafe myself
Fun fact: the royal family of Jordan are the _Hashemites,_ a.k.a. _House of Hashim,_ they were originally a tribe called Banu Hashim and Mohammed himself, their prophet, came from this tribe.
Another interesting fact: the mother of the current King is British
And the birthday of the prophet is just ytd
NoThingNess -chan no it’s today
Uhm, I‘m pretty sure the prophet Muhammad was from the Tribe of the Quraish in Mecca
Febrazeal my ytd was ur tdy
