The Bobwhite Quails

This is my first RUclips video you get to meet my pets bobwhite quails and see them in their home. They are two years old.

I am birder from decades past and still love to see the bobwhites.But,unfortunate they have become because they have totally dissapeared from the southern United States.I have heard everything from the sharp grass that farmers grow from predators,and hybrid crops.I personally think two reasons they have disseapered.First,the introduction of coyotes in the early 80s,and second hybrid soybeans and corn.The crops have DNA that won't allow bugs to eat them.They taste so undesirable that nothing will eat them except humans .Hawks is a threat to but not like the bio engineered crops that could poison quail,but I am not sure.All I know for sure is that nothing will eat them.

Too many raccoons n possums n nobody trapping them anymore. They are everywhere n they won't hesitate to eat them if they find them.
