I know I have never commented on your videos before. But I want to do so right now. I brought home Luna. 13 lb Maltese Havanese. Your bathing video was extremely helpful. This is the second time I've viewed it. I did purchase the absorbent towel which I love. I also , purchased your two sided slicker brush which is awesome. I used it for the first time last week while bathing my Shih Tzu. It worked out wonderfully. I do use a quality shampoo & conditioner on my dog however, I'm going to try out the one you used in this video, (Petals & Trails). I always shampoo my dog twice and rinse thoroughly. Then I apply the conditioner as you have demonstrated in this video. You are an excellent teacher and dog groomer. Thanks for all you do for dogs and for pet owners as well. my cockapoo has a weird coat--it feels like a cotton ball in some places, especially when you pull it apart to untangle. She has super curly feet and the curls loosen as they go up her legs. She is black and white and the black hair on her head and butt is similar to dreadlocks (small bologna curls) The white hair is straighter on her body, with the exception of her feet which are very curly. Do you treat curly hair the same as straight hair in the process of a puppy cut? Is there anything different I should be doing? The back of her back legs continueally mat, even after brushing daily and keeping on the shorter side. Any suggestions would be helpful! Hi Amy, I’ve got 3 ShihTzu’s with skin allergies. Possibly outside allergens. They are scratching all the time. What kind of shampoo and conditioner do you recommend?
I’m new to your RUclips channel you mentioned a shampoo and conditioner to try. However, when I went online, they only have the shampoo. I don’t see any conditions listed. Recommendations or where I can find it. Thank you.

Hey Amy, I know you like to use the Petology Puppy Faces product,,,,,,Is it supposed to be really runny right out of the jug? I bought a gallon of it off of Amazon and its as runny as water almost.
Thank you for another great video. I have a hard time understanding why groomers talk to dogs in a higher pitch "baby talk". Why not just talk to the dog? Most guys know not to spend so much for absorbent drying towels for they are identical to what is used to dry cars for many years. It cost a quarter the price through a car detail shop. But women have their quirks, so who am I to question it.
My dog has major skin issues that erupted from a groomer ive been using for 6 months . Not getting rinsed properly and build up has destroyed her balance . It's really really bad. Please help me find a proffesional who can deploy all of these steps . I'm in San Jose Ca .
Can you do a video on how to keep the curls on a poodle after bathing , everytime i blow dry my poodle the curls disappear and i do not like that fluffy poofy cotton ball look i like the natural curls but i don't know how you can keep the curly look unless i let my poodle air dry and brush her with a big cumb after she is dry , but in cold weather i do not want her to be wet for that long
We are just starting out as groomers. If we purchase loofas to use with the shampooing, do we need to throw them away after each groom or do you assign each client one and reuse them when they return?
This is my grandmas dog, you dont wanna know how many times she mentioned this vid would be filmed

Yes, both and love them!
Do you have a good leave in conditioner/detangler that is fragrance free that you recommend?
No, not scent free. I like quicker slicker.
@@GoGroomer is the scent strong on it?
@GoGroomer could I dilute the quicker slicker with water so the smell isn't as strong or is that not a good idea?
About drying towels: I’m worried that while those towels are stored damp the bacteria grows inside. May he for a groomer it’s helpful because you use it all the time. What do you think?
Where can I buy the o tube dog leash?
They are handmade and currently no one is making them. I designed them and a subscriber was making them and no longer has the time to continue with that project. I’m looking into other options. I do have a video on my channel showing you how to do it yourself and where to get the supplies?
@@GoGroomer yes it would be very kind! Thank you ❤️❤️
Any tips or suggestions for home bathing a dog without a hose? I live in an apartment and don't have the freedom to install one. I've tried a couple of those no-assembly tub hoses but didn't really work.
So you don't recommend shampoo & conditioner in one? Ive been using that by warren london
I do not.
Hi Amy,
I’ve got 3 ShihTzu’s with skin allergies.
Thank you.
They have both, conditioner is in the navigation menu too.
Herzlichen Dank für deine informativen Videos! ❤
Schönen Gruß aus Deutschland (Bavaria)😘🍀…..ich habe Dich abonniert 🎊
Greetings!!! Thanks for joining us from Germany. 😊
Thanks for sharing.
Regarding the loofah- I don’t trust plastic- which is what that scrubbing puff you’re using is made of. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I thought you used the Prima bathing system? Do you still use that and why didn't you use it on this dog? Thanks
Yes I do and love it! Most of my viewers do not have a bathing system so I must demo how to produce great results without a $1400 prima.
Is Buffy a Maltipoo? She looks just like mine! 😍

Hello
Great video, thank you
I was wondering if you could recommend anything that I would be able to purchase in Australia
This company does not ship to Australia
Thank you keep up the great videos love them and the content ❤
I was taught to shampoo twice and condition. Do I really need to shampoo twice? As I feel this takes a lot longer and uses so much more water 🤪
Not if you take your time during the shampooing process as I showed you in this video. 😊
❤❤❤
Are you doing one Shampoo or the two? Do I only need to do one?
Hey Amy, I know you like to use the Petology Puppy Faces product,,,,,,Is it supposed to be really runny right out of the jug? I bought a gallon of it off of Amazon and its as runny as water almost.
We also used Prell to wash our hair years ago. We gotta learn to update and always be on the lookout for new innovations.
Absolutely 🙌
Thank you for another great video. I have a hard time understanding why groomers talk to dogs in a higher pitch "baby talk". Why not just talk to the dog? Most guys know not to spend so much for absorbent drying towels for they are identical to what is used to dry cars for many years. It cost a quarter the price through a car detail shop. But women have their quirks, so who am I to question it.
are those towels made with the same materials as the Absorbers for cars?
Can you do a very detailed video on the proper clipper sizes to give a shih tzu a sanitary trim at home?
I have a sanitary trim video and that goes for all breeds 🙌
so cutee!!!!😍😍
Where do you get the tub leashes now.
You have to make it. I designed and made my own, posted a video on my channel showing you how to make your own.
My dog has major skin issues that erupted from a groomer ive been using for 6 months . Not getting rinsed properly and build up has destroyed her balance . It's really really bad. Please help me find a proffesional who can deploy all of these steps . I'm in San Jose Ca .
Most of the dog shampoo I see is 2-in-1 (shampoo & conditioner combined). Do you recommend using 2-in-1 products?
What is the dog grooming blueprint guide for $5?
Are you going to be doing a live stream video chat
Not tonight, next Monday is the livestream. 😊

How come you didn't dilute the shampoo?
how much does it cost to groom the dog
Most small dogs start at $50.00.
Can you do a video on how to keep the curls on a poodle after bathing , everytime i blow dry my poodle the curls disappear and i do not like that fluffy poofy cotton ball look i like the natural curls but i don't know how you can keep the curly look unless i let my poodle air dry and brush her with a big cumb after she is dry , but in cold weather i do not want her to be wet for that long
I did, it’s in this video 😊

We are just starting out as groomers. If we purchase loofas to use with the shampooing, do we need to throw them away after each groom or do you assign each client one and reuse them when they return?
