So do you buy the bus ticket at Haneda airport first telling them you need to get to your hotel and pay accordingly? Or just pay the bus driver? Also can you pay by credit card. I heard recently due to the value of U.S dollar being higher than Yen, it’s best to pay in Yen to get more value from your U.S dollar.
You can purchase the bus ticket online or pay as you get on the bus with cash. You can do currency exchange for japanese cash at your bank or at the airport when you land.

Hi. I’m going to be there in Tokyo alone for the first time ever in May for 10 days. I’m coming in from Haneda airport. So cheapest way to get from airport to this hotel is train, but bus seems less headache without transfer? Also what if I want to get around Tokyo ? Should I just get a train/rail pass like JR pass, buy individual pass for where I want to go specifically , or just walk? I don’t plan to take a day visit to another city since it’s my first time in Japan and likely need all 10 days to enjoy Tokyo, but if I do, should I buy it in advance for like Yokohama ? Thx.
Hi! To get around tokyo i would recommend train and walk. JR pass is not needed. But you will need a card to load up money (suica or pasmo) when you go in and out of the train station. I think they have an app option now if you dont want to hold a physical card. For Yokohama just the train and walk will suffice. No JR pass needed. Have fun!
It was the Ookini Hotel Dotonbori thats a block away from dotonbori bjt when i was about to make the video a few days ago i noticed it's no longer up on expedia or their site. So i think they closed it up during covid :(
The airport limousine bus was such a short distance to walk and the ride costs only 1100 yen. I will say that I should’ve reserved a seat because it was kinda full and that you get a guaranteed seat if you reserve it in advance. Lucky me.
Thanks so much for the video. We are coming from Narita Airport. Which train station is the hotel in? Also for the limousine bus is there one to Narita?
Hi! Thank you SO MUCH for watching! The station right underneath the hotel is the Toyocho station. I just checked and it looks like the limousine bus in Toyocho only goes to Haneda (please correct me if I'm wrong). I would probably check the next closest limousine bus stop and see if you can get on/off that one. If you decide to stay at a different hotel, definitely keep the limousine bus in mind in case there's one close by! Happy and safe travels!
Hi there 👋🏻 I came across your vlog as I'm searching for a real budget place to stay since I'm heading there next week. You've mentioned the limo bus, is it totally free or is there a substantial fee one has to pay to reach the hotel? Is it only for that stipulated hotel you're staying or practically for all? Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏻
@joycetan4684 thank you for watching! It is not free. You would have to buy a ticket. Please find their route online since one can go to haneda and one goes to narita!
Hi! It's located in Tokyo but i think the area/neighborhood would be considered Toyo? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The train station would be Toyocho station if that helps!

Have fun!

hi, may i know if Fresa Inn Tokyo is near to Tokyo train station ?
Hello! It's about a 20 minute train ride to Tokyo Train Station :)
I assume they have toilet paper and not just a spray toilet right?
Yes :) there's toilet paper!
How did you book the hotel? online or when you arrived?
Hello! I booked it online
So are they like Toyoko -inn??
Hi how far is this to tokyo station please?
Hello! It's a 20 minute train ride to tokyo station :)
203 very interesting and informative video 👌 helpful sharing 💖💖💖
Hello so what’s the name of this hotel?
It says it's $127 per night now
thanks for the info 🙏🏼🥰
What place were you going to recommend for Osaka?
It was the Ookini Hotel Dotonbori thats a block away from dotonbori bjt when i was about to make the video a few days ago i noticed it's no longer up on expedia or their site. So i think they closed it up during covid :(
4 nights costs $ 689! When I checked.
Ohh that's so much! prices definitely range depending on time of year.
The airport limousine bus was such a short distance to walk and the ride costs only 1100 yen. I will say that I should’ve reserved a seat because it was kinda full and that you get a guaranteed seat if you reserve it in advance. Lucky me.
Hi there! Which airport were you coming from? Where did you book it? Thanks!
@@sdee8116 Expedia site is where I booked it. I flew in to Haneda from Texas direct flight United operated by ANA airlines
@@sdee8116 coming in from narita in 2nd week of may of 25 . which stop should i get off at for toyocho? and where is the route map listed at?
THANK YOU!!!!
Thank YOU for watching! 🥹 have fun!
@@xtigerleelee I definitely will, just booked a 10 night stay there for less than $700. Such a valuable video, subscribed as thanks ❤
@nevertellmethaoddz8581 THATS AMAZING!! I'm so so happy this video was valuable 🥹 thank you again for watching!
Nice sharing my dear
@@xtigerleelee noted wt thanks 👍🏻
Can u please write the area name
Hi! It's located in Tokyo but i think the area/neighborhood would be considered Toyo? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. The train station would be Toyocho station if that helps!
If you're on the hotel hunt, here's another video on what to look for before you book your hotels:

You wont get that now this video almost a year ago prices are way higher
Might not be that low anymore but still relatively cheaper than most hotels around. Hopefully i can return soon and give an update with different hotels and post-pandemic prices
Nelly
Split 3ways lol
I pay 18euro a night at a capsula hotel. Enough!
Look this I think is better
I Love to Save Money 👍🏽
That saved money = more to spend on food and gifts for yourself 😁
Definitely not 600 dollars.
Thats what i paid. This video is based on my individual experience. Prices vary season to season and this video is a year old. Sotetsu is still cheaper comparatively to a handful of chain hotels.
In Japan for 2 weeks and it only cost me $450 😂
That's amazing! Goals! 🤩
Whatever you do don't stay in APA hotels unless you want a really horrible experience and the owners of APA are some of the most vile people in Japan. Unfortunately #onlyinjapan got paid to endorse them so I stopped watching his channel. I won't be supporting people who take money from vile people.
I read up about that! When i was looking for hotels a lot of APA popped up and i was purposely trying to avoid it.
i spent $400 for a month
yo. perfect travelvlog- Xtigerleelee. =))
Thank you so much! :)
