Y’all checkout the Mercure Haneda and the Miyako Takanawa. Both around $100 a night for people with reasonable discounts throughout the year, very accommodating to English speakers, big clean with very nice and spacious bathrooms!!!!!!
I don’t care if it’s 48 hours or two weeks - I gotta have a nice room, lol. Minato def caught my eye!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen an outside bath in the city. Maybe Vegas!?
Yay 🥳 I immediately jumped on this video the second I saw a notification. I always enjoy watching your videos while working or as a treat, thanks Sundai!
I actually stayed in First Cabin Haneda on my first night in Tokyo cus I had an early shinkansen to Osaka the next morning. Can confirm it’s SUPER clean and very peaceful. I booked the biggest one as well and I think it was $85 cus I booked it kinda last minute. But the bathroom area and room were very clean and comfortable.
We learned about the Minato from your channel and were in Japan recently. We stayed in both 5th floor rooms and your recommendation was top notch . The sauna, the jacuzzi bath and warm seated toilet that greets you have left a lasting impression. And the breakfast was beautiful!
I love you Sundai, I’m still pretty young and just watching how productive and positive u are has made me want to travel and take more care of my self!
First, amazing video, really diverse on the details and options on these hotels LOVE IT! and second, I'm gonna be honest, I always like to watch your videos to inspire myself, your vloggin ideas, editing and aesthetic is mesmerizing!
Could you do the same thing in different cities in Japan, Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohama, Kobe…? Where to stay? Where to eat? And even your favourite activities in those cities. It would be awesome and also put it on your website
2:40 I bought my boyfriend the Spirted Away art book for Christmas a year or two ago! He loved it The sped up walk was similar to what they did in the show Cribs lol. I don’t know if it was intentional but I loved it My must have amenities/accommodation is a pool and the bath. And like Sundai, I need a spectacular tub
I'm out here working in a cafe like my homie Sundai! Enjoying the new video! Happy holiday season fam, however you celebrate or don't, from your loving Grinchy blerdy friend 💜
Sunday, please do a budget friendly hotel video. My must haves are a bathtub, microwave, fridge, and a tv with Netflix and stuff. These are really nice though. I'm not into the capsule hotels at all. Got closed in issues 😅
Jail house pajamas 😂 girllll you play too much. I honestly love the book and bed activity. When I was little I use to crawl in small closet spaces with my flash light and book and read. It’s more of an introvert dream.
Aw Sundai the hotels are so nice 👍 thank you for showing me you live such an amazing life ❤ wishing you and your sweet family and friends a very Merry Christmas ⛄🎄 take care girl your awesome 🌸🙏❤🤗
This video is so good I watched it twice. I am planning my first trip (solo) to Japan for next year. Sadly I have already booked my hotels for my trip. I am holding on to these recommendations as I feel it is not going to be my last trip. The last hotel I am thinking might be a birthday pick for me in the future so thank you. Oh my hotel must haves are a bath, comfy bed location near train station. Outlets WiFi. I think it depends on the type of stay but for this trip a fancy hotel is not my priority although if I had seen this before booking I would have been tempted to book that last hotel. Beautiful
Going back to Japan in March with my mama! Thank you for this list! Not sure if you’ve done a video on it already, but do you have hotel recommendations for Kyoto (besides the lovely Blue Bamboo, of course! Our stay isn’t that long, otherwise we’d definitely hit you up!)?
I'm pretty easy going generally but I do want a room where I can control the temperature. Too many places won't let you cool the room properly and also don't let you open windows. I struggle to sleep when it's warm.
Hey Sundai! I am coming in May and tried to look up the Blue Bamboo. Do you only rent on a monthly basis? Can you suggest nice stays in Kyoto or Osaka next? ❤️❤️
i feel like there are no hotels in japan that can accommodate (have enough beds) for 3+ person groups. they’re all one king or two full beds AHHHH ps. if the bathroom looks like it’s from a saw movie. i’m not going there.
I need to ask you this, have you ever thought about naturalizing in Japan? ... I'm wondering since you've been there for 10 years already and as of my knowledge you qualify after 5:)

It's the fact that all your outfits match the aesthetic of each room. 😌🙌🏾
Definitely referring to this video for my Tokyo trip next year!
The intro…..sent me shivers as the aesthetics was amazing
The long awaited hôtel guide is here 🎉 thank you girl ❤

Nice! ❤
I stayed in Book and Bed for three days. Being 6'1" was not exactly the most comfortable experience but reading books in a cafe was a vibe
😂😂😂 dang! 6”1! I struggled at 5”3😢
Wow! This is so helpful! Sundai always looks out for us!
Lovely Painting 🎨 🤩🎨

Thanks Sundai for sharing this video, I’m sure it will come in handy.
I did First Cabin at the airport during my layover back to SoKo. Fantastic experience
Thank youuuuu. ive been waiting for a video like this!
I might try a few from your list in the future! My top 3 are:
1. Aman
2. Prince park tower, tower view room
3. The Peninsula
Aman is amazing

Thanx boo! Merry Christmas to you too 🎉
This was so amazing, thanks Sundai 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Heyy Sundai thanks for this, I'm planning a trip to Japan in the next year and this is definitely helpful😁❤
I usually stay at APA (which is convenient but teeny) so I’m excited to see this video! Thanks for putting this together!❤
Definitely affordable and convenient! So small indeed
Could you do the same thing in different cities in Japan, Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohama, Kobe…?
Where to stay? Where to eat? And even your favourite activities in those cities.
It would be awesome and also put it on your website
Yes Sundai, we needed this!!!
There are so many amazing options! I especially love the last one ❤
😍😍hey chicken yea y’all gotta stay at that last one
Need more vids like this for other citiessssss
The editing on this is smooth girl. Cohesive and u can tell all this took a minute to complete😅 my must have In a hotel is breakfast hahaha

A treat!! Happy holidays, Sundai! sml from uk
yes please make more budget friendly hotels also i need videos of lists of cafes and restaurant that are good places to go to.
Perfect timing. Going in March solo
Sundai on a Friday? YES PLEASE!!!
It’s wonderful how safe Japan is. I feel like if you stayed in a capsule in America, it would be dangerous.
Needed this. Planning another trip for next year but I loved the hotel we stayed at Miyako City Hotel Tokyo
I’m coming thank you for the resources❤
I also am a HUGE bath person and 9/10 times it's a deal breaker if the room doesn't have an amazing bath 😂
Much love from Arizona 💜💜
Omg yesss you feel me

Amazing list😁. Do another one for us po folks, budget friendly. I tired of staying at Apa hotels and My Stays.
The first to like the video!!! 😁
I don’t travel much but I would need a good view and a plush bed when I travel.
My must haves: I need space to move around even if my suitcase is open (unless it’s a capsule hotel), a VIEW, and a nice, updated bathroom.
My must have in a hotel is a small kitchen, it is my new home for a while so I have to enjoy it as much as possible ☺
Ooo good one indeed
Jail house pajamas 😂 girllll you play too much. I honestly love the book and bed activity. When I was little I use to crawl in small closet spaces with my flash light and book and read. It’s more of an introvert dream.

I walked through Miyashita one morning on my last trip, and I didn't realize that was a hotel above the cafe!
More please, and thank you! Visiting Japan in 2026 for our 10th year anniversary 😊
This is is so timely! I'm literally planning a on 2025 tokyo family trip !
Thank you😊🔥
Actually booking rooms for march trip. Video is just in time~ am trying to decide between airbnbs and hotels.
yesss its a sundai!!!!🎉
Requesting more luxury hotel recommendations so Sundai has a legitimate business reason to treat herself and expense her exploratory “business stays”.
So sweet! Heck out Shiki properties they have many and bna hotels
Lovely video
I'm pretty easy going generally but I do want a room where I can control the temperature. Too many places won't let you cool the room properly and also don't let you open windows. I struggle to sleep when it's warm.

Wow you’ve been in Japan for a decade 🎉
Budget friendly options plsss im planning a two week trip 🫣🫣💀
Not the snow falling out!😂😂😂😂😂
😂
The last hotel room is my dream. I would live there if I could afford it 😂
When Cory x kenshin goes to Japan, it be so cool if you guys did a collab!
A budget-friendly, longer-stay option would be great. I hope to bring my daughters to Japan in 2026, so that would be great.
Blue bamboo is longer stays 😊
everytime i see a bath like the cedar one im tramautized because of that one evangelion scene 😂
Hey Sundai! I am coming in May and tried to look up the Blue Bamboo. Do you only rent on a monthly basis? Can you suggest nice stays in Kyoto or Osaka next? ❤️❤️
Yes sorry love only monthly. Shiki has many nice properties tho
Must haves: bath tub, bath tub, bath tub!
Okay but, Sundai, where do you get those crop half zip athletic tops you wear?!
I neeeed some of those in my wardrobe.
Please put me onnnnn🙏
I think yesstyle. I need to find the link cuz I need more 😂
Which ones would you recommend for traveling as a platonic pair and are a bit more budget friendly?
chocolate sundai🩵🩵
I got caught up in errands and missed out 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Really lux 🎉
Congratulations
Hotel must haves are different depending on America vs Japan 😅
YHAY❤❤❤❤
Taking notes for October 2025!!
Look Sundai, if the girls pull up to Japan are you coming out? Cuz at this point you have me considering moving there.
For me it's the hotel bathroom. If the bathroom doesn't look amazing I have to pass. I need a superb shower lol
Soak away the debt 😂😂😂
😭
i feel like there are no hotels in japan that can accommodate (have enough beds) for 3+ person groups. they’re all one king or two full beds AHHHH
ps. if the bathroom looks like it’s from a saw movie. i’m not going there.
If i had to choose one for each: Must have is nice bathroom and a Big No-No is being dirty.
its gotta have a microwave😭it has to look aesthetically pleasing and its gotta have enough stores around lol.
Cocaine 😭 lmao
U should do a giveaway of all the outfits u don’t want anymore kuz I need em and can’t afford em !
❤❤❤❤❤
“Not the cocaine falling out” 🤣🤣🤣 im weak
😭
I need to ask you this, have you ever thought about naturalizing in Japan? ... I'm wondering since you've been there for 10 years already and as of my knowledge you qualify after 5:)

Have you ever had to deal with bed bugs in a Japanese hotel?
Never
