I had been wanting to say this from very long that unlike other make up vloggers, you are devoid of artificiality and over commercialization. You are natural and absolutely impressive in your domain.
There are several factors in treating acne at home. One resource I found that successfully combines these is the Pats Remedy Plan (check it out on google) it's the most useful guide that I have ever heard of. look at all the super info .
Absolutely gorgeous. And I can't stress enough how pleasing it is to hear you say repeatedly things like, 'just use whatever moisturizer you have', or 'you don't need the tools I'm using use whatever tools you have', and 'just use what you have at home'. So often in videos people will talk about the tools they use and how they just can't live without that specific tool. And it makes one feel that they need to go out and buy it. When really, as you've shown, that's just not the case. You are a breath of fresh air, Smitha. 💗
My Grandma always told me that makeup should be so light that people should wonder if you're wearing any! You said the same thing! Thanks for reminding me of my Grandma's good advice. ✌️❤️
Hahaha Yes, so did mine! My Grandma didn't wear makeup however & if she did, it was @ a true minimum. She'd only use face cream/moisturiser & wear a bit of light lippie when she went out. I'm the same & i do not wear foundation & never have, except on my wedding day. I'm a freckly part Celt, but i don't hide my freckles. I'm comfortable in my own skin, but i must confess, foundation when applied correctly/lightly, does make a real difference.
I can't recall ever seeing either a concealer or foundation shade/colour match so *perfectly flawless* as in this video!! straight up! that looks like you removed cosmetics from those areas vs. applied them!
Ok...so I am an older woman in my 50's. With that said I can be very stubborn with change. I've been doing make-up for many years but not so much for other people anymore. When setting spray came along I said absolutely not. There's no way a liquid is going to set a powder so I never used. Watching you, I'm not even going to question what you say. I'm going today to buy the setting spray and try it. You are the only person who has convinced me to try it. That's a miracle...lol.
I have been spending an obscene amount of money on Dermalogica daily scrub and I tried the coffee and my face is so soft!! How have I never heard of this?!! Thank you!!!
Hi I really love ur videos absolutely gorgeous tutorials thank you, I would really appreciate it if you would explain to me about how do I go about using coffee and it's benefits
It's actually not the best for your face over time. Maybe once a month. I would try a gentle aha to get the dead skin cells off or a bha to clear out poors
You are absolutely wonderful. Like the comment below, I’m always impressed by how well you do the makeup, but also how authentic you are. You don’t push product; you teach! I’ve been doing my makeup longer than you’ve been alive, yet I always learn something new- and easy. What you demonstrate is as equally effective for a woman of Czech & German descent as a woman of color & I really appreciate that.
I fell in love with a natural, fresh, minimal look, but I sit down at my vanity and it’s like I’m trying to use every technique and tip I’ve ever seen all at once! Especially during the Winter when I like my base to be a touch more matte, and more like the “Beat Face” we use to talk about all the time. I like your straight forward approach, you know what works for you and while I am sure you try new makeup and skincare, your video isn’t a commercial for whatever is new. Constantly buying and incorporating new skincare and makeup into my routine is a pain in the behind! I’ve spent my money, so I’m determined to make it work. And by the time I’ve figured it out, I bring another new product into the picture. In 2020 I want to stop doing that, it frustrates my enjoyment of my makeup!
Finally! A natural look that doesn't require a lot of makeup to achieve! Thank you for posting. I hate the feel of anything on my face but you used such light products, I think I can do this.
Thank you for this video! 💯 This is a no makeup makeup tutorial that anyone can follow and makes sense. I like how you keep it simple and don’t use a lot of products. Your end result is very natural and pretty - you, but better! Your complexion is gorgeous! Very clear, healthy, and glowy!! 💯😊💛
Thank you! I just started to do minimalist makeup during the pandemic, you’ve helped me by choosing right foundation and concealer tone after holding it back for years 🙏🏽 cheers
I have alot of problems with my skin like hyperpigmentation and dark spots and wrinkles you name and I have it! I love how you embrace it and teach us how look more beautiful with what we have. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. I don’t have a skin routine because I honestly don’t need a routine. I am 46 years old as of this month or last month, and we are trying to keep all of our body products for hygiene and beauty to be vegan cruelty free etc. We’ve been looking for a natural scrub, and this coffee scrub is absolutely amazing. Since I have dry and oily skin, combination. I put vitamin E & coconut oil in paste form on my face every day as soon as I wash my face so that’s really the only Routine I have. You gave me an idea I am going to mix coffee grounds with my vitamin E even though I’m washing it off gonna let it sit a little while and then reapplied vitamin E and coconut oil after the process. You are very beautiful naturally!
This is THE best foundation video I have seen on RUclips- seriously. You are a pro. Even at 6:00 I was like is the video done? You already looked amazing after the skin treatments. 💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love the way you get on with the tutorials without too much time wasting and your style is so natural and seemingly easy to try and copy....you give great tips and I value your tips most in this space ....no loads of product laden on and then blended to death...thank u...I appreciate u, I am older than 60 and need that natural look without looking like a layered cake.
Folio or anything like it are the best! Vibrating if you can get it just does something to your skin. But the best part? They actually get clean as no dna / dirt is stuck amongst brushes. Plus they dry very quickly. My pores have shrunk immensely since using a cleaner like this. Thanks for sharing - great videos btw!
Love your videos. It's looks almost magical to watch your face transform as you apply each product, and extremely helpful to include the purpose of each product, and how it works on your skin.
I rip open a tea bag and mix it with a little water and use that to scrub my face... I also steep tea and then put in a spray bottle and keep in the fridge for a face mist, feels good and is full of good things
This video is how its meant to be Truly useful ..... Loads of love to Smitha Di as she is always up to the mark of her videos .....😊 the reason behind my Preference of Di on any other channel , is nothing but her originality , regularity , she teaches basics and advanced too , with equal intervals ... Love you
Where have you been all my life I needed this tutorial no I needed all of your tutorials you are awesome!! I basically have dry skin and now I know that this technique will help me. And even your eyeshadow techniques abiut the eyeshadow showing the wrinkles on you eyelids was a helper too cause i have that problem as well. So omg your my life saver
Your tutorials are very well communicated. I appreciate your consistent remarks that the viewer can use their usual products to achieve results. Just also watched a couple of your skincare transformations videos. You are stunning, bare-faced and made up. You present as authentic which also keeps me coming back for more. Your tips on using a sponge (in a different video) made a huge difference for me. Thank you for your high quality content. Will keep watching and learning.
Hi Smitha, I like your ideas and the coffee scrub as scrubbing the face with coffee grounds can help to clear away dead skin cells and unclog the pores. The chlorogenic acids in coffee may also reduce inflammation and protect against some strains of bacteria, but, Coffee grounds can be fairly harsh on delicate skin, so you may want to skip the DIY coffee ground scrub if your skin is sensitive. And, no matter your skin type, don't scrub too aggressively with the coffee treatment! What happens is after exfolliating your skin can look waxy from wiping away skin cells and natural oils, allowing premature exposure of underlying skin. The skin appears as if it has a radiant shine. However, it is in fact very dry and exposed. I would instead us a mild alpha hydroxy treatment or perhaps be extremely gentle and careful using the coffee grounds.
Oh my goodness! After I make my coffee, I save the grinds & put jojoba oil & vitamin e oil in it.... it’s in a container in my shower already pre-mixed. It’s terrific! Violet NYC 🥰
@@nahbirdie4773 jojoba yes!! Almond I wouldn’t personally use on my face because the scent bothers me. Lol but almond oil is actually a really wonderful oil for the complexion..helps with acne too if I remember correctly.
U look amazing with and without makeup!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ And would certainly love to see videos like this which has skin care details along with the makeup!! Thanks 🥰♥️❤
This was a breath of fresh air. I dont wear foundation normally because of how cakey it looks the way most people tend to do it. I really enjoyed this video and encouraged to try it myself 👌

Love this natural look, specially for every day ....I use make up every day . And need coverage because of the gains on my skin, and redness, that I hate, so I use make up to cover it. Love the way you do eye colors, in other videos. I never know how to mix and add definitions to make it look stunning. ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t know what you’re talking about. Your skin is practically flawless! I have broken capillaries and acne scars all over my face from puberty/pregnancy, and I have extremely sensitive, pale skin, so I scar VERY easily. I wish my skin was as nice as yours.
I ALWAYS put my makeup on by a window. I do it so often that one day I actually fell through the window lol cutting my arm very bad. I still do it. Im just more careful. I love watching your techniques! 🥰
Another variation for the DIY coffee scrub that I do quite often is mixing coffee with honey 🍯. As most of us know that Honey makes your skin glow with radiance. Apart from that, honey is a humectant which means it seals & locks in moisture in your skin leaving you with well hydrated skin. It also helps unclog pores as it is a clarifying agent along with its antioxidant & antibacterial properties which help slow down the aging process, prevents & heals acne
You are such an awesome makeup professional and skin care professional. Everything you say I agree with and it seems like so many youtubers even if they are professional, do not think like we do as far as what to apply, how to apply, and to keep her face is natural not cakey. Yes More videos like this please. Love the natural look and sometimes with a flair
Instead of going left to right like Smitha, try going up and down. You can also do this with concealer. I use a sponge and press it on. I’ve been using this technique and it has helped with creasing.
To avoid creasing use less quantity of product under the eyes and Dust off excess powder on your hand before placing under the eyes with sponge or simply use powder brush 🥰🥰
Once she put the concealer on I was like wow she doesn’t even need foundation she’s done! What beautiful skin I can’t do that because I have severe rosatia
Use products with green tea if not do like a concertate green tea and aply on your face every night for 5 days then rest 2 without. You should see a light difference after first 5 days!
I must say, I didn’t even recognize you at first in the thumbnail. You look so beautiful & a lot younger with less makeup. Amazing! I love your videos! Especially that we have similar skin which helps me. I’m Hispanic & everything you do works perfectly for me. Thank you. ☺️

So I did the coffee scrub this evening and I have never glowed as much as I did with this little magic trick. Thank you so much for the coffee trick....you rock. Wish I could send you a pic.....I also did the 5 minute smokey eye
Thank you very much for this video! Finally someone who understands me, I don’t like the cake of foundation. Since I have rosacea I sometimes have to wear it. Now I can apply it happily, God bless 😊

facial routine!!!! Thank you so much for the coffee trick....you rock. Wish I could send you a pic.....I also did the 5 minute smokey eye
I never blot my face after spraying, so thank you for this video.
