I would say charging different prices for locals and foreigners is acceptable for a developing country like Sri Lanka or some other nation and also for a country where the currency is depreciated over the years..Charging 0.2 $ for a tourist place for a country which is dependent on tourism ? Seriously it cannot happen..Many touristic places are worth it for the price in Sri Lanka but when the same 1500 is charged for the crisis hit local I am pretty sure they are not gonna visit it..But for a developed nation may be UAE or Britain for example where the country is economically stable charging locals with the same price of tourist is acceptable..😇❤️
