I actually loved this feature and would do seasons on both the 2014 and 2015 seasons. A bareboned game but I did have a lot of fun.
i still prefer 2014 and 2011 over this crap honestly,no satety car no red flag compared to previous games...no career mode...it was very underwhelming apart from the new engine and visuals
To me the lighting in F1 2015 was as good as we ever had
And the night is unmatched in the series

Meanwhile alcohol sponsors such as Singha (fyi: a Thai beer manufacturer) and or even various forms of gambling sponsors have been in the F1 Games multiple times for over a decade...
Which means that the Martini sponsorship for 2014 - 2017 was either too expensive for Codemasters to pay for, or that perhaps Williams or Martini themselves didn't want it to be displayed in the game for whatever legal or financial reason (don't forget that it is in fact the F1 teams respectively who give permission of usage for the finalized "official" car models and liveries to Codemasters, after they have legally approved everything with the individual licence owners, and that the F1 teams are also the ones who can and do decide what will ultimately be made accessible).
Either way, in almost all videogames during most cases it is always a question of how much money the dev studio / publisher is willing to pay for getting the entire licence package (and sometimes even when given 10's if not even 100's of millions, some sponsors or licences or people etc. simply don't want to be a part of whatever they were approached for; for example: it took many videogame dev studios /publishers a lot of time to get the licence to use the likeness and or the championship winning cars of Ayrton Senna)!
TLDR: The PEGI rating has little to do with licencing, it's merely a business decision!

When i was 14/15 i hated that game, even though it was worse than 2014 lol But last summer i played it with my friend and had soo much fun trying to win WDC as Alonso. Yeah, it's not perfect game but it's pretty fun. Both seasons, 2014 and 2015, aggressive (and stupid) AI which tries to defend and fights against you. Cars real performance, even in time trials. F14T oversteer and understeer in the same time :D And of course the amazing lighting in nights and rain
I remember the confusion this caused, given that F1 2014 had been made for XBox 360 and PS3 etc, it left people wondering (especially given the problems of lag in the last previous gen F1 game) what was the point of them releasing it when they did? Worse still, as the 2014 cars were a feature on the 2015 game, those questions got ever louder

If I'm not mistaken, every F1 game since then is still using the F1 2015 engine, it's more noticeable when looking at character models and animations

Sauber were a laughing stock in 2014 i remember watching the entire year, disastrous year in which neither Sutil nor Gutierrez scored any points. And they were also beaten by Marrusia in the championship, which meant the team suffered the shame of being beaten in the constructor championship by a team with a car which is 1 second slower
Also, the penalty for track limits was brutal in the final update. Sauber was nerfed hard as the season progressed.
Hey man! What did you do to make your Fanatec wheel works on F1 2015? For me, my Fanatec works fine just on F1 2017 or a newer one.

Me, a fan of Alonso returning to F1 after a long time taking Alonso in Mclaren. Struggling all the way through, but somehow managing the win the championship with agonizing pain realizing he was at the Ferrari at the 2014 season was one of the joyous moments of my F1 game series. Damn I missed this game.
F1 2014 was even worse...the engines sound and the handling were absolutely terrible, I remember that for rotating the car you had to drift in first gear😂.
Many make fun nowadays about Grosjean but in the 2012 and 2013 He and especially Kimi of course collected many many podiums in the Lotus. You can even make tge Argument especially Kimi could have won more races in those two seasons
Sadly, as 2014 came around Kimi's Performance fell AS did the Lotus Team and McLaren as well (Mclarens 2013 also was very Bad). Maldonado made the absolut worst choice to go to Lotus while Bottas, Massa and Williams had great moments in 2014 and 2015
I just loved the Lotus livery. That black and gold has to return
People made fun of Grosjean then too. He definitely had some good performances and a few podiums, but he was almost as bad as Maldonado with unnecessary incidents

F1 2015 has the best graphics for night racing. Not even F1 23 come close

I loved the Pro Season mode in the older F1 games
this game was cool but I never actually had the chance to play it.
On PC at least, it's one of the few f1 games you can still get for a reasonable price from a key seller like G2A
Graphics look as good as they do in F1 23, i would even say that some shots look even better.

I recently re bought 2015 and i like this game. Yes it's bare bones and no career but i like it. Sometimes a racing game doesn't need a career just some solid game modes......which admittedly this game lacked

apart from the visuals the game is probably my least favourite codies game

@@Blue694 The game runs on the same engine as 2015 so the foundations will look similar, but it's mad to think that the fidelity, lighting, framerate isn't better now. It's night and day.
