Tyre pressures are opposite this game. So decrease tyre temps you need to be closer to max pressures. Best strat I think so far is max tyre pressure. Just give it a try.

I’ve had the same glitch in both f1 and f2. Even got locked into slicks in a wet one shot qualy into a wet race in f2
Yep same happened to me in f2 at Austria and it screwed me over. Wet quali and race. Ai was on drys both sessions. Get pole on wets easily. Strategy doesn’t let me change to wets at race start. Box after first lap and it was dry like 4 laps later, I only got p4
Clinical! You knew where you were fast, took the opportunity, and away you go.
Tom The Australian Time trial setup is actually pretty decent in many tracks and it really worked well on Singapore but mainly for the race.
Jarno Opmeer had the same bug today in his livestream during his race at canada where the AI refused to use inters.
I had it racing is Australia and the ai were quicker than me and never suffered from any lack of grip it seems.
i wonder if what youre feeling is a sort of hydroplane feedback, if there is water between the tyre and the track surface you would have that little twitchy feel as the tyres struggle for traction

Interpolation helps a bit with the jittering but if you go too high it makes it feel weaker overall
well now, challenge accepted and you kicked its butt in qualy with a drift through the final corner on to the main straight.... nice
Same happens to me in suzuka gp, It was obviously wet at the start although I couldn't select inters to start with, whole grid started on softs so I pit on lap 1 fited inters and was 4 sec faster than everyone, Ai did not pit for inters just sticked to strategy even and changed for hards after some laps even it was still raining and eng was saying inters are right tyres absolute bollox that
I had a similar experience, except that my inters wore out really quickly and and the ai just never lost grip or suffered really by staying out on slicks IN WET CONDITIONS.
This game is broken and the ai are either pp in the wet are totally rubbish.
I had this in an f2 race, I had to start on super soft but I pit on lap 1 and won a 10 lap race

The lap times even in the dry are a joke in career mode. I started a career at Williams and Albon finished first in a practice session with Leclerc on 0.7 in 2nd on the same tyre

It’s so frustrating how bad these games can be on release. I LOVE F1 but growing tired. Hardly played 23 due to lack of new features so just picked it up for £10 and gonna stick with that. Sad state of affairs though
