Meantime that's the serve having won the match, Fan was struggling with its receive all the way through. Kudos to Lee for realizing it since the beginning and keeping it going

OMG ! even Ma Long lost to Lin Yun Ju in final! all 4 top Chinese players lost to foreign players at this tournament. Fan Zhendong lost to Lee Sang Su. Liang Jing Kun lost to Lim Jong Hoon. Wang Chuqin lost to Lin Yun Ju.
Not that I don’t agree Lee is good, but his play was not any sort of Chinese-amazing here. FZD looks like he’s having a midlife crisis after he lost to Lin Gaoyuan twice convincingly. Wang Chuqin defeated him like some third rated European. His match with Truls was horrible (I never thought Truls was that amazing player everyone says him to be). There’s a reason many people says world#2 WCQ is “overrated”. FZD was just better than everybody by a landslide. Here, FZD has hesitations in his attacks, movements, returns, and he’s reacting very slowly to all attacks. He is being haunted by the same ghost that haunted players like Harimoto, Lin Yunju, Alexis Lebrun.
Lee was always close to the table and never falling back,not defending much and put fan on the defensive most of the game. Fan ha dno answers and i have never seen fan play so badly. Anyway,kudos to Lee
