One thing I love about the beef is it’s bringing the the yungins onto this classic Kendrick shit . This shit came out my h.s senior year and shit really was a crazy time for rap.
The BEST part of it, honestly. It was fun & entertaining for me, as a Kendrick fan (🐐 imo), but there are more important things than my entertainment. The youth need to hear something positive, with life lessons and wisdom. True game on wax.... 💯
Fair warning you might not wanna skip the songs you heard before because the album versions are often different. You missed a bit of context from the ends of a few tracks that tie the story together.
@VinylVaren People don't like it because they say it is too woke and doesn't have radio hits. For me Section 80 is my least favorite album of his studio albums. Section 80 is still good, but just not to the extent of everything else.
Somebody as good as Kendrick doesn’t even have a “bad” project. He’s like Shakespeare, or LeBron, or $100. Some Shakespeare is more well known than other work, but all of it’s still good, sometimes even LeBron loses a game but he’s still amazing to watch, and I don’t care if I got a $100 bill, or twenties, or singles- it’s still a $100.❤️
Kendrick puts too much effort into all his music for any of his albums to be considered bad or for there to be a “worst” album. Just all different experiences and entities
It's like you hear his growth and he is talking to you and telling you a story about his life and not the same thing everyone else is doing drugs guns jewelry and stuff with no storyline
I remember buying the album and being 10 minutes away from the house and wouldn't get out of the truck cause I didn't want to stop what I was hearing... it's like a whole movie...
This is a mini but hard detail in mAAd city but when MC Eiht first talks , in the backround you hear 12 talking on the walkies and then when the beat drops , thats when 12 takes off . HARD 🔥‼️
This is definitely the best introductory album for a new listener. He doesnt have a bad album. Section.80 might be the album i listen to the least rn, but its still impossible for me to say its his worst. I don't think he has a worst. It just depends on which one you feel like putting on atm.
All of kendricks projects are amazing, GKMC is definitely his best though. I was in high school when this came out and we were driving around all the time bumping this album.
‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ is better than this. But you should also react to his debut album, ‘Section.80’ (2011). It’s from when he was 23 years old, and he tells the stories that “Sing About Me” is based on.
Weird spelling I know right but It’s mc Eiht like the number 8 I forgot why he don’t use a G but he had beef with Dj Quik back in the day and Quik on his track dollaz and sense he says “you left out the G cuz the G ain’t in you” lmao
Sing about me, I'm dying of thirst, Duckworth and how much a dollar cost are my top 3 favourite tracks all from 3 different albums. A special mention would be Love but his entire collection is incredible and that's not even including the heart part series!!!
I recommend listening to “For your eyes only” album by j Cole. I’m sure you’ve heard his hits but this album is an underrated cut which in my opinion is his best storytelling rap. The closing song brings the story of the album together and is one of the best storytelling songs of all time.
Try Lupe Fiascos “Food & Liquor”. Lupe walked so Kendrick can run! Lupe was our Kendrick Lamar when I was in my high school days. I’m 35 now and that album definitely paved the way for new conscious rappers.
He’s trying man! The new generation aren’t equipped to hear everything he’s saying. The music they’re raised on hasn’t exposed them to this type of lyricism.

Most definitely agree.. brought back the youth breaking down lyrics I love to see it
I listen to this album at least 4 times a week. STILL. Classic. Best story in a long while
Me too. At least 3 or 4 times a week. That's why it's been on the charts since it dropped. 💯 CLASSIC
Fair warning you might not wanna skip the songs you heard before because the album versions are often different. You missed a bit of context from the ends of a few tracks that tie the story together.
ain’t no way mr morale is his worst album, whoever said that was tripping.

Not a bad album, how worst album . The worst album in Kendrick catalogue is still pretty correct
So which one was worst ? Cuz we gotta rank them best to worst no matter what
Kendrick puts too much effort into all his music for any of his albums to be considered bad or for there to be a “worst” album. Just all different experiences and entities

Sing about me does that to everybody bro✊🏾
Never forget my first time hearing “Sing About Me/Dying of Thirst.” Only rap song ever made that brought me to tears.❤️
That single song destroys anything J Cole ever released.
it does. every time.
I remember buying the album and being 10 minutes away from the house and wouldn't get out of the truck cause I didn't want to stop what I was hearing... it's like a whole movie...
This album came out when I was in my early 20’s. Just know that summer was a WHOLE VIBE!!!
One thing to know with Kendrick, he does not waste bars... he attacks each song with an art, has some sort of story or thought he is conveying
So cool seeing new fans experience these albums. Great video ❤
I truly enjoyed watching you listen to this classic album for the first time. Kendrick is what hip hop needs. He’s a true artist. ❤

Gotta listen to swimming pools and then sing about me, it will make a lot more sense
All of kendricks projects are amazing, GKMC is definitely his best though. I was in high school when this came out and we were driving around all the time bumping this album.

gkmc > tpab imo

I see kendrick i click, Tpab next pls!!!
Sing about me, I'm dying of thirst, Duckworth and how much a dollar cost are my top 3 favourite tracks all from 3 different albums. A special mention would be Love but his entire collection is incredible and that's not even including the heart part series!!!
you have gained a new subscriber my friend
0:50 Dont worry you gonna get that a lot more listening to kendrick

damn album is his best one
Not even 2nd 💀
not even a top 3 kdot lp lol
Try Lupe Fiascos “Food & Liquor”. Lupe walked so Kendrick can run! Lupe was our Kendrick Lamar when I was in my high school days. I’m 35 now and that album definitely paved the way for new conscious rappers.
No make up on section 80 would fit Lupe so perfectly
Mr morale is sooooo good
Good reaction bro
Mc Eiht = Mc 8
bro skipped “good kid” 😢
to pimp a butterfly next
playing games to intro was fire
If the music makes you swear, swear 👌
Nah it said it because they were praying to god in the beginning i ain wanna curse during that
bro you just now listened to GKMC? what were you listening to before??
Kid Laroi, Juice Wrld, Gunna, Travis, Daniel Ceasar,
@@VinylVaren it was kind of a rhetorical question.. cool music taste tho 👌
Listen to cartoon and cereal by Kendrick
Do you think this album is better than any Drake album?
Haven’t to drake albums
bruh , obviously
GKMC is better than Drake's entire catalog.
TPAB is his best
He doesn’t have a best or worst
arguably. gkmc and tpab are very close for many
Music is suggestive

Corny reaction. I’d be super surprised if bro understand half of what kdot said. The Xanax generation
He’s trying man! The new generation aren’t equipped to hear everything he’s saying. The music they’re raised on hasn’t exposed them to this type of lyricism.
