One thing that has always annoyed me with this game is the food. Now that I won't be able to just kill my character to reset the vitamins is annoying, I'm a solo player and don't have hours to scour the globe for all the food types. I gave up on PVP a long time ago with this game, and just come back every few months to see how it's coming along. I hope they finish it with their small team, but I don't see a decent player base ever coming back to this game. Thanks for sticking with this game and making content for it. I've enjoyed this game since that glorious Xmas eve launch.
I'd like to keep covering it till it releases at the very least. Hard to say when now though, it was meant to be December, then they delayed it till Q1. But it's getting past that now and some major roadmap items haven't been touched.
sorry, I don't want to be that guy but you were probably playing the wrong way all this time. As a solo player you don't need to bother with fancy recipees, all you need is salt, a food bag and whatever you find on your island, berries, veggies or even coconuts. You don't even need to go that far since you can find any type of food inside floatsams. You have to remember both ark and atlas were made on its core with this horrendous progression system where you either need to be in a big group or play for a long term to enjoy endgame content. That being said, pve is one thing, and a hundred times easier for the solo player and small companies without the pressure of a bigger threat and the big companies reserved mostly for OG players and salty grinders. Solo pvp is really enjoyable when you know what you're doing. Don't play hard, play simple.
Thanks for the info... can you still toggle mating in the tame house/barns? I see the button, but you said you'd have to pull them out to set the chickens to breed.
I've not really used the tame buildings, it was introduced while I'd stopped playing. It just shows as not breedable in the barn interface for chickens. Perhaps other types of creatures can be bred?
@@Skarvig If you select the animal in the tame house and click the button at bottom right it will toggle breeding on and off for that animal. I was confused also, it's a different interface that they introduced after the tame house debacle from their Feb1 update that lagged out all the servers to the point of being unplayable for about a week.
I haven't seen the game for a long time, but it would be interesting if there was an option to transport the resources of a farm to the benches or Ports through a construction or an animal Something like Ark's S+ mod
@@malakimalmalmalaki184 wait so your seriously telling us that you havent noticed the reduction in graphical appearance etc ? i sure as hell have since i returned back to the game a few days or so back. it looks horrible compared to how it was two or so years back

Skarvin in da house
Did they fix the tame rails on ships? Didn t have Access on my tames
I didn't see anything about that in this set of patch notes, but I've been away for a few months myself.
Im glad the game hasn't died off completely
It's still going, but it's very quiet of late. Months have gone by with what we believe to be a UE5 upgrade to the game.
👌👌

I had to stop playing on Xbox X
Every time they update something, the game becomes more buggy ...
It's too bad.
Yep the game is dead the graphics are eye cancer just waiting on Snail gaming to pull the plug
I'm not sure they will though, despite everything that has happened over the years.
On my series x I've had no issues I crash once-in-a-blue-moon that's it
