Dear Johanna, greetings fm Portugal. Hope you are all well. Here we fight the heat and the ongoing wildfires😩From almost 8000km away my ♥ skipped a bit when I saw the Taj. Of course, I ve been there, but it never ceases to fascinate me in its utter splendor and beauty. Great homestay, my kinda place. Took note as I am seriously considering going back to India for a 4th time. One may leave India, but India never leaves you.
I very much hope you get to visit soon again and explore more! Especially this homestay is a real gem, and anyways i always do prefer homestays - have another incredible homestay to share in another upcoming video!! Might be even better than this 😍
Hi Silva Mam, we appreciate your thoughts about our amazing country, we hearty welcome you, I am from Jaipur & look forward to your visit to wonderful & beautiful pink city jaipur. Most of luck to you 🙏🌹
One interesting bit of info you may like is. The Humayun’s tomb in Delhi was sort of a trial run for the Taj. It is usually not crowded. You will see some of the early concepts there. Some concepts also from Alhambra in Southern Spain closer to your home.
Awesome vlog,Annika is the reason why I watch your vlog adorable cute little baby, love the way she goes and explore herself small little things ,love your mom too 🌹 lovely smile tc God bless your family ❤️
The Taj Mahal looked absolutely breathtaking! I am sure Mummi that seeing the Taj Mahal up close is an experience of a life time. India is such an amazing country with so much to see, explore and experience. Thank you as always Johanna and Vinod for sharing your incredible trip with us. Stay cool if you can. Big hugs and kisses.🥰💛🤗
Thank you for sharing. I’ve never been to the Taj Mahal but your excitement and positive vibes were so palpable that I felt I must go there someday! I can’t wait to see the next place you visit!

I really missed watching your mom's reaction (while hearing you describe was good , it would have been lovely to see it on her face). Her reaction to forts and palaces of Jaipur was heart warming to watch in your previous videos. There is a garden just opp to tajmahal and it is also a worthy spot to absorb Taj beauty. With its reflection in water,it look glorious. Supposedly Shah Jahan favourite spot to watch Taj! Something for next time:)
My mom wasn’t feeling very well in Agra, probably due to the heat, so I didnt want to make her be too much on the video. But in general i do agree with you that i wish i had more of that material of my mom marvelling at the Taj! I loved the clips I took of her seeing amer fort especially 😍
Hello Johanna Vinod and baby Annika 🫂🌻🙏 your mom is having a great holiday love 💕 👧🏻and Annika spending time with her grandma 🫂🌻🙏looks beautiful place sunshine 🌞🫂🌻
I been to the Taj many times n it's a different feeling every time. I wish u showed us the rooms at the home stay. Love to mum n vinod. Huge hug to princess Annika. U are a very experience volger .

As always Annika is beautiful and very well behave little girl 🌸 I love to see the great time you are giving your mom on her visit, I’m sure it will be memorable for all 😍
I love the scene in which 3 generation ladies in the same family are opposite Taj Mahal, the eldest and the middle one sitting on the floor and the yongest running around.
Hello Johanna, Annika has grown into a beautiful, lovely and curious little girl. I am glad you are all having a nice time with your mother and beautiful Indian historic sites. Thank you for sharing your beautiful videos with us.
You look like a different person in that last scene because I have never seen you so relaxed. Maybe the energy from the Taj is magical and transformative.
We visited Taj Mahal in full moon night many years ago..... it's such a marvelous experience unable to express in words..... I am not sure wheather still it open at night or not but if you must watch it in full moon night once in your life time..... By the way I hope you all are ok n doing well...... If possible please make more videos so that we can see Annika frequently in your lovely vlogs...... Take care ❣️
We were also contemplating on visiting the Taj for full moon with my mom, but weren’t able make the dates fit into our tour schedule! But it should be open a few nights a month 😊
Nice one. Very useful info regarding the home stay. Taj is of course a fusion of several cultures. Indian, CentralAsian, Persian and even Moorish architecture and design. Artisans and materials were from several regions of the world as well.
You should have shown us some clips of your train journey from Jaipur to Agra, that would have been nice. Nice to see your mother's reaction and appreciation of the Indian Railways or being overwhelmed by the jostle and crowd at the Indian train stations, your arrival at Agra, first impressions of your mom and so on..But anyway, your vlogs are indeed therapeutic, they are real therapy..
Since we had a very early morning, we rather slept in the train. And with all the luggage and Annika, moving around in the crowds and the heat is difficult enough without a camera too. I get your point and I’d love to be able to film just about everything, but my mom’s comfort and Annika are more of a priority 😊🙏
This is Tejo Mahalaya, an ancient Shiva temple. The Indian Government, has through time refused to open the locked doors. After all, a great fictional love story brings in more tourists, especially international ones. Buried in it's premises are more than 3000 women of Shah Jahan's harem. The debauch married Mumtaz's sister a few weeks after her death. He did not sprare his eldest daughter Jahanara too. Here is the evidence by a westerner of it not being built as a memorial of love : ruclips.net/video/WcxoMJd1L8g/видео.html

Real Golden Triangle Tour- Delhi, Jaipur and Agra- surprised by symmetry and hugeness of Taj Mahal Building. Missed the Agra Fort - must see Fort- seat of Mughal Empire. Thanks for the nice vlog
As I was saying on the video, the heat in agra was very overwhelming. My mom wasn’t feeling too well due to it, so we opted to rest at the homestay and not tour Agra. Vinod and I have already visited the fort some years ago 😊

Hi Johanna. Thank you so much for taking me to Taj Mahal. The atmosphere seems to be serene. It's inspiring and hope to be visiting soon. It's just the rising cases of COVID-19 that makes us think twice. God bless you and everyone in your family. Love and regards from Malaysia.
From Jaipur to Agra!.. hello Indian tourism!.. getting free advertising here. Thank you so much for bringing back the memories of my visit. Do Visit Shimla, Manali (Vashisth village) , Solang & Rohtang valley Mccleodgqnj (Dalai lama’s hometown) . Had visited this March . Such a beautiful place in noisy , chaotic & overpopulated India.
It’s much too difficult to tour all that distance with a baby and my elderly mom with a leg injury. Especially Annika had a lot of car sickness in the mountain roads, so we tried to minimise the time on road. Hope you’ll enjoy seeing the few destinations we found 😊

it was built by hindu architectures because mughals didn't have that much skill or we can say skilless mughals because they haven't Built any thing ih their country but in india cause only indian architect can make things like that...and it was a way to spread Islam all over country that is why the tried to built many things so that india could look like muslim country🙏🏽
S,and it is not at all a Mughal s monument, v cannot see any marvellous building build by Mughals in any part of the world.this is absolutely hindu monument build by Hindu kings, and as usual Mughals have erased the fact only to keep their name.
Story time Who was actually the emperor Shah Jahan? It is reknown that Shah Jahān had an almost insatiable passion for building. At his first capital, Agra, he undertook the building of two great mosques, the Motī Masjid (Pearl Mosque) and the Jāmiʿ Masjid (Great Mosque), as well as the superb mausoleum known as the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is the masterpiece of his reign and was erected in memory of the favourite queen Mumtaz Mahal(his second wife). He was the fifth emperor of the Mughal Empire, reigning from January 1628 until July 1658. Under his emperorship, the Mughals reached the peak of their architectural achievements and cultural glory. At Delhi, Shah Jahān built a huge fortress-palace complex called the Red Fort as well as another Jāmiʿ Masjid, which is among the finest mosques in India. Shah Jahān’s reign was also a period of great literary activity, and the arts of painting and calligraphy were not neglected. His court was one of great pomp and splendour, and his collection of jewels was probably the most magnificent in the world. Indian writers have generally characterized Shah Jahān as the very ideal of a Muslim monarch. But though the splendour of the Mughal court reached its zenith under him, he also set in motion influences that finally led to the decline of the empire. His expeditions against Balkh and Badakhshān and his attempts to recover Kandahār brought the empire to the verge of bankruptcy. In religion, Shah Jahān was a more orthodox Muslim than Jahāngīr or his grandfather Akbar but a less orthodox one than Aurangzeb. He proved a relatively tolerant ruler toward his Hindu subjects. In September 1657 Shah Jahān fell ill, precipitating a struggle for succession among his four sons, Dārā Shikōh, Murād Bakhsh, Shah Shujāʿ, and Aurangzeb. The victor, Aurangzeb, declared himself emperor in 1658 and strictly confined Shah Jahān in Agra Fort until his death. The prince(Shah Jahan) would have to wait five years before he was married in 1612 (1021 AH), on a date selected by the court astrologers as most conducive to ensuring a happy marriage. This was an unusually long engagement for the time. Though there was genuine love between the two, Arjumand Banu Begum, Persian(who later got titled Mumtaz Mahal) was a politically astute woman and served as a crucial advisor and confidante to her husband. Later on, as empress, Mumtaz Mahal wielded immense power, such as being consulted by her husband in state matters and being responsible for the imperial seal, which allowed her to review official documents in their final draft. The prince would have to wait five years before he was married in 1612 (1021 AH), on a date selected by the court astrologers as most conducive to ensuring a happy marriage. This was an unusually long engagement for the time. Mumtaz Mahal died at age 38 (7 June 1631) while giving birth to Gauhar Ara Begum in Burhanpur. She died of a postpartum haemorrhage. She bore him fourteen children, out of whom seven survived into adulthood. Source: wikipedia

Johanna mam where is your mother these days in India or finland because you have taken so long to put this vlog.I follow your vlog but it is not coming on day to day basis.I thought you have taken break to see your lovely kid and may be not getting time. You have got a very good husband caring and seldom talks.you should feel proud on him as he is simple and sober.
I’m not a daily vlogger and never have been, my videos are never shot on the same or even previous day of posting since this level of editing work takes a lot of time. So i post one video per week, maybe sometimes two if i get more time to work. 😊 Unfortunately last week we were all sick and i wasn’t able to work at all, so I missed posting for that week! Damned covid. My mom was here in June.
Beautiful music, duet of Sitar and Tabla are going on in the background. Madam, please you will teach Anika Indian classical music like Sitar in future when she will be 5 years old. Thanks 🇮🇳🇫🇮🙏 🌺❤
If Annika shows interest to musical instruments, we’ll surely encourage her in that 😊 but it’s up to her if she wants to play something or just enjoy listening like we do

it was built by hindu architectures because mughals didn't have that much skill or we can say skilless mughals because they haven't Built any thing ih their country but in india cause only indian architect can make things like that...and it was a way to spread Islam all over country that is why the tried to built many things so that india could look like muslim country🙏🏽
S,and it is not at all a Mughal s monument, v cannot see any marvellous building build by Mughals in any part of the world.this is absolutely hindu monument build by Hindu kings, and as usual Mughals have erased the fact only to keep their name.
Story time
Who was actually the emperor Shah Jahan?

Mumtaz Mahal died at age 38 (7 June 1631) while giving birth to Gauhar Ara Begum in Burhanpur. She died of a postpartum haemorrhage.
She bore him fourteen children, out of whom seven survived into adulthood.

Johanna, I am waiting to see Anika’s latest photos. Please take some new videos for us. Miss seeing Anika.
Beautiful ❤️✨
I live in Agra ❤️
Beautiful ❤️
I am indeed in love of your pretty cute daugterAnnika more than Taj Mahal madam. Thank all of you so much. 👌😄❤️🙏
Comparison of a child with a monument? 🤔 Interesting!
@@garimakilledar5810 Madam lifeless monument whatever beautiful it is , less to life & if it is innocent child then it is nothing to say.....this is my feelings.
I find Taj Mahal highly overrated. It's beautiful but not like how people describe it. India definitely has much intricately built monuments.
If Annika shows interest to musical instruments, we’ll surely encourage her in that 😊 but it’s up to her if she wants to play something or just enjoy listening like we do
Beautiful vlog
annika rocks . nice vlog 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
do they allow to go inside the building?
I think in some inside areas entry is allowed, but the mausoleum is restricted.
