Tip: When using any storage bags, fold the latching part (for ziplock type bags, the zipping part) outside or inside out...just the connecting part. That way, when you fill it, you don't "dirty up" the zipping part! Using Julie's bag holding stands, I would just fold the zipper part over (inside out) and put it the the clip.
An easy marinade for chicken is: 1 cup Italian dressing to 2/3 cup powdered lemonade mix such as Countrytime. Marinate at least 8 hours, the longer it's in the marinade the more lemon flavor the cooked chicken has. Very good!
So you could make all of these and add the veges. Let them marinade overnight. Then throw in the freezer. They would all be perfect to throw in your cockpot! Easy Peazy. Yum
Love my baggie holder! I bought mine about 10 years ago for when peach season comes around & I buy a bushel to freeze. It may look kind of silly but it really serves its purpose well!
I bet it works so well for that! It seems like it’s a necessity. And I wish I lived near you for all of those peaches. That sounds so good! Thank you so much for sharing your positive feedback🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hi Julia! Wanted to send you an update!! If you remember, I made all of the meals, except for the fajita, which I didn’t have enough chicken left to make!! So we loved all of the other 5, but the Greek yogurt one. I cooked some in the crock pot and some in the oven. All came out perfectly cooked and were amazing. We are going to recreate all of them again, but use about 2 pounds of chicken for each one. Use up all that delicious juices. We served with rice, pasta or roasted potatoes. The four of them were so good I can’t pick a favorite. Only change I made to any of them was to add fresh Jalepano! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!🧡🧡🧡🍽🍽

Made the first one tonight! It was fantastic. Tip: Buy fresh ginger and freeze it whole. When you need ginger no need to thaw or peel it just grade it. As you grade it the peels fall outside the grader and the ginger falls inside it.
Thanks for the hint about alternatives to plastic bags. I'd only use them if I plan to store the marinated meat inside the freezer. If you eat your chicken the same day, they're a total waste and a glass/ceramic bowl makes more sense.
Well I know what I'm cooking 2morrow. You make my life easier. Especially now cuz I'm 3 months pregnant and can't decide what to eat most of the time. Thank you for your recipes and wisdom. You are an angel and I love your videos 💜💜💜💜

RICH BOLD MARINADE!!! 🥰🤩🤪 The very best! Oh my word! Then I roasted green beans and broccoli florets, cooked down the marinade, poured all that into the cooked chicken, which I sliced cross grain thin before marinating and cooking. WHAT an AWESOME taste it has!!!
Oh my goodness!! That sounds like it was an amazing addition for sure. Thank you so much for sharing that and thank you so much for watching. I am so happy that you enjoyed it🙌🏼

made the teriyaki and substituted ginger ale for the water and add just a small amount of the brown sugar..great for kabob meat, used it on beef, pork and chicken.
Wow! Thank you so very much for that tip! I’m sure that worked really well. I’m sure that the ginger ale tenderized the meat quite a bit. That is a wonderful suggestion thank you so much for sharing and thank you so much for watching!🙌🏼🙌🏼

WRONG!!!! Yes. Restaurants DO "Bake" their steaks (double broil, usually), but the Temperature is usually over 900°, with the most common range for High-End Steak Houses being between 1200° and 1500°
Salamander, Double Broiler, etc., etc., ....and High-End Steakhouses could care less about the Grill Marks 70% of the time. Many are Seared in an Iron Pan/Skillet at around 450° - 500°, 40sec to 1 minute per side, then thrown in the broiler for 2 mins, Buttered, Flipped, cooked 30sec to 2 mins based on the order, i e., Rare vs MW, etc. If you Sear both sides of a Steak, and then ROAST it at a weak 350 for 20mins....,
1) That's easily a 35 to 40min order to table ticket. Customers are complaining, even if it is AMAZING!!

Yes, great tip! I always fold my bags over so that I don’t get stuff on the area that all be sealing the bag.

Yes, Joyce! You definitely can freeze the chicken in the marinade. Just make sure that you put it in the refrigerator to defrost and then use it within 24 hours after you have thought it. I sure do appreciate you watching!😀
Cook your chicken to 160 and put it on the plate... Carryover cooking should raise the temp another 5 degrees...Just loosely tent the plate with foil

Tip: Buy fresh ginger and freeze it whole. When you need ginger no need to thaw or peel it just grade it. As you grade it the peels fall outside the grader and the ginger falls inside it.
Thank you so very much Linda! So very glad that it turned out so well for you. And I sure do appreciate that tip!😀🙌🏼
These all sound and look yummy. And oh so easy. And loved seeing a glimpse of your sweet baby!
These all look great! I like how your videos have a theme. Very enjoyable! Congrats on Macie! Cutest Sous Chef 😃
Thank you so much Bonnie and thanks so very much for that sweet compliment about my Macie😉💜
I love freezing marinade chicken! I prefer baking because I’m still learning the grill, and i feel like the sauce stays in better.
That is true, Nicole!😀
Those all look really good thanks for sharing 💕 your babies Dooo cute 😍
Thank you so much Mary I appreciate that sweet comment about my baby! Thank you so much for watching😀
Thanks for the hint about alternatives to plastic bags. I'd only use them if I plan to store the marinated meat inside the freezer. If you eat your chicken the same day, they're a total waste and a glass/ceramic bowl makes more sense.
You’re so very welcome and I appreciate you sharing that here. I hope you enjoy some of these meals and marinades 🙌🏼
With the Greek Yogurt chicken, sub the cilantro for Dill instead! Game changer
Well I know what I'm cooking 2morrow. You make my life easier. Especially now cuz I'm 3 months pregnant and can't decide what to eat most of the time. Thank you for your recipes and wisdom. You are an angel and I love your videos 💜💜💜💜
Well congratulations to you! And I’m happy to hear that my videos can help you with your meal planning. Thank you so much for watching!😉💜💜
Thanks for the recipes , too good I have tried all these chicken marination recipes 👍
I am so very happy to hear that you enjoyed all of these marinades, Anita! Thank you so much for sharing that with me and thank you so very much for your positive comment here😉💜💜
RICH BOLD MARINADE!!!
I am so happy that you enjoyed it🙌🏼
Yum, yum, yum!!! What can I say, Yummy in my tummy 😂!! Wow, Julia thanks for making and showing us the cooking method!
The greek yogurt marinade was amazing! My picky 10 year old even loved it! Thanks!
Wow! That is definitely a win for sure. Thank you so very much for sharing that and have a wonderful rest of your week Hayley💜💜
I watch your wonderful videos with my granddaughter and she loves seeing baby Macie. She tells me she NEEDS to see cooking with the baby!

Thank you for sharing these recipes; I’ve definitely needed help in this area of getting flavor into my meats. I plan to try them all! Gale 🌸
That’s awesome Galel. I sure am glad that you can use these marinades! Thank you so very much for watching and for your positive feedback🙌🏼
made the teriyaki and substituted ginger ale for the water and add just a small amount of the brown sugar..great for kabob meat, used it on beef, pork and chicken.
Wow! Thank you so very much for that tip! I’m sure that worked really well. I’m sure that the ginger ale tenderized the meat quite a bit. That is a wonderful suggestion thank you so much for sharing and thank you so much for watching!🙌🏼🙌🏼
These look amazing. Do you think they’d do well in the slow cooker?
Love your marinade ideas! I will definitely try them. Only thing that I would change is instead of adding water, I’ll try chicken or vegetable broth.
Absolutely! That would add a lot of flavor. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy🙌🏼
This is wonderful
These look wonderful - can’t wait to try them! LOVE all the inspiration signage! Macie is adorable ❤️
Perfect timing! Sunday I do my meal prep for the week. Saturday I do my shopping for the prep work! Gonna go through my list again and see what I need to add for some of these marinades.😉☺️
