I think it’s your transmission that’s holding you back you could tell it would be a closer race if your truck was shifting smoothly but it sounded like the solenoids are bad
@@jesusreal77 because the 4L transmissions when in D and you give it gas it drops to 2nd then 3rd so it drops from 4th to 2nd and that’s why they blow so often. But if you drive it in third and give it gas it you can shift to D for 4th . Try it on the freeway, drive normal in D and drop it to third and hit the gas. It will feel so much smoother. No crazy down shifts. Then shift once you hit a high RPm to D.
