After so many years of LS telling us trash players to pick Annie to climb, pro players are picking Annie to climb the standings, we are all living in LS world
I agree I think that point is really correct. Chovy and Kiin have just been absolute all-world level players for years regardless of what’s around them
I'd like to share my idea about how to promote more diversity: only one type of drake spawns per game (meaning all drakes fire or all drakes ocean, first two too) and you know the element in champ select. Everything else is unchanged (rift modifies after second drake death, 4 drakes give you soul, elder spawns after a team collects 4 drakes). Then you'll not have one meta that has to adapt to everything it happens in the game, but you'll have 6 meta, one per drake element.
For sure it would be an amazing change to know in champ select, like you said it would force teams to prepare picks for way more scenarios. Then you could also make rift elements more impactful without it feeling like unfair rng, because you would know in advance and any disadvantage would just be a failure to adapt and therefore deserved.
But it's kinda hard to make it fair competitively, you would need someway to make the type of drake that spawns a pick/ban or someshit or else it would be too unfair, but honestly the idea is actually teally good
Its a cool idea, but certain maps favor certain champs so hard to the point it could be a balance issue. Like knowing if its ocean drake would make rengar maokai ashe s+ tier cause you control the bushes and vision
@@zhiqiangwang121 it's not unfair tho, that's the same thing as saying a certain meta is unfair to the players that aren't good on the meta champs. That's not unfair, it's up to you to learn more champs. If your team couldn't play the meta well on certain rifts, that's on you to be more versatile, it's not an issue of fairness imo.
It's great when you see a game that showcases many champions. If it is not unplayable and can be played. Go for it. Yes, there are stronger champions out there. But this is always awesome to see. Also the team has to secure the kill. You can't leave anticipating or thinking the other teammate has the kill secured. You have to stay and help until it is. The Renekton should have had that kill. But teammate left during it thinking he had it. Which led the Renekton dying from pursuit to kill.
Feels bad for Cryin in the corner. Gets flamed for playing Annie at worlds into getting kicked from RNG into bad team into teamless. Granted he did underperform pretty sure he was a good supportive roaming mid who plays Galio, Annie etc. Sometimes its better to play on bad teams rather than be a good team and scapegoated for every problem on a team.
Well think what the team mates of Chovy thinking… every time something goes wrong it’s always not Chovy fault because he’s so “perfect” 🤣😂 After the last World’s he’s for sure a MEME of chokers the day everyone hyped him up is over.
He wasn’t getting flames for playing Annie. He was getting flamed was being the worst player on that rng roster and overall bad compare to other mid at world.
the 6 months thing is crazy. I went from gold to diamond 3 in less than a month after I started studying LS coaching videos and practicing them religiously. I got a new account and only played when I was warmed up, nd I got it to diamond in a week after being stuck in mid gold. then I got shit on cuz people were pushing waves in and just fucking me (anally) and I was lost in midgame because I couldn't just aram mid anymore to win it. Kinda crazy how long I could just aram tho. Basically all the wins I got to that point lol
A pattern I notice with LS, is everytime he says a team is playing poorly, or have a lousy item build, they will have a good chance of winning. And then when he likes their draft, says they got good items, good positioning, map awareness, vision, etc, they are more likely to lose. I saw this happen with T1, KT, and now KDF.
I feel like there's a pattern where better teams tend to draft worse. There's less compulsion for them. So the worse team will draft better but still win.
I guess LS' Argument was that tenacity doesn't do anything vs Naut and Sej, if you get hit by their hard CC, you're dead anyways, so might as well lean into it and go glascannon. I'd have probably went T1 Boots into damage and if I happen to get fed I'd have picked up banshees later to actually combat the hard CC. Does that make sense?
@@skuamato7886 yes I have ears but mercs do fit better into the rylas liandries build too. Personally the 15 pen vrs a resist stacking sej with 150 MR cant feel better than taking less damage in lane and less CC throughout. Most people would rather have less damage taken by the champ that is going to poke you under your tower the whole game. Annie is never solo killing Azir this game, but will over kill Azir with any successful ganks regardless of boot choice. One could make the argument for swiftness boots vrs mercs honestly. More MS for engages, you also get slowed less in lane by Azir making it the best boots of choice if laning or getting onto Azir are some of your primary concerns in the game.
Banshee is good in isolation vrs Sej R. Gets poked off easy by jayce, Azir and Varus poke though. If Annie built rylajs liandries, followed by something like a abyssal mask you do about the same damage as banshee. Are tankier vrs all the Champs and will cause some of your allies damage to increase too
Pretty sure Vi and Jayce making multiple picks and taking objectives without Chovy in the area, therein turning every fight in their favor for Chovy to clean up kept Gen. G. in this game, but hey, Chovy needs some love after getting dumpstered in first 2 games.
Be conscience enough to actively improve. But you just said before that you only need to know the very basics of the game. Surely that improvements are the not so basics you are learning along the way. This guy.
annie gets 20% ap suddenly gets blind picked twice wins 1 game vs/then gets banned by freakin geng. and you're telling me pros are actually trying their best? a champ considered terrible, gets 20% ap and boom pick/ban contender
tibbers gets like 2k extra hp late almost 200 armor + MR stun lvl 1 and stronger e shield Tibbers can pretty much 1v2 Bot lane so the game is 6v5 when you lock annie
LS talking about 6 months for d4. Is he delusional. Top 3% of players in 6 months. I mean. I am not so sure. If you have a top tier coach, if you are mechanically gifted, if you play every hour, only stopping to review games you feel you played bad. Maybe. But as a NEW player. You have to get used to so much. That you have stopped thinking about, even to the basic point of learning to cs to the level of top 3% will take you time, on each champion you going to play as you might have champs banned or different position allocation. Learning spacing vs different champs. So yes you do need to know all the champs and what they do otherwise you at a huge disadvantage. Might not matter in iron or bronze. But above that is sure does. You just can't remember what its like to play without knowing this game inside out as it has been your life for so long. You get caught off guard so much when you don't know what champs do. Like flashing a wall because a kayn walled through river. Not knowing kayn can phase through wall means flash gone and you still dead. You can do that for almost every champion in some situation.
Annie had a good showing because she got 2 ganks early, ps every time viktor was trying to poke to counter first strike. I feel without first strike, Viktor does not walk up too far. As he does not get anything from it. So first strike I feel was a bit of a bait that worked. But saying annie not having a bad showing when doing nothing after 2 kills. I don't know, maybe its the build, but I feel it falls off too much late game and you just a stun bot with hp, or glass cannon where you are easily traded. As weak hp levels.
look game two my man, also pros are willing to pick shit like renekton that disappears into oblivion late game and gets outscaled by every champ in the game so it's not like they can't fit midlaners that scale slightly less than azir/viktor into their playstyle.
@@darrenfleming7901 I disagree. Renekton does not get outscaled unless he gets behind. If he is even or ahead (as he should be because he is a early game lane bully), then he is relevant. It is just NA top laners can rarely utilise his early game power. Cannot remember who it was. But there was a renekton game vs fiora where he just kept 2v1 the enemy fiora and jungle when he was getting ganked. That is how it should go. But getting behind on renekton makes you super useless. As it is not meant to happen. Get ahead on renekton and you have to misplay super hard to be killed. Where as this annie got ahead and then did not really have much game impact. Just my opinion.
