  • For more than 50 years after WW II the Canadian Forces had a military presence in West Germany. After the Berlin Wall fell the Canadian government felt there was no need for its military to remain on German soil. Neil Lundy went to Canadian Forces Base Lahr after the pull-out and sends this report.

    Wow LAHR ! 1974 -1978 to 1981-1985 Firehall. It's Monday 0600 HRS SNOWBALL, SNOWBALL, SNOWBALL

    I used to go shopping from Patch Barracks to Lahr. Good ciggies and food.

    Notre lycée FES de Lahr (jumelée de Bellevillle, là où la Base des Forces canadiennes se trouvait jusqu'à 1993 et dont les bâtiments nous utilisons actuellement) a participé dans une compétition et a filmé un rallye consacré à notre lycée et les relations Allemagne-Canada

    Being a half Canadian teen still living here near Lahr and it feels so lonely because most Canadians are gone and they're not that much half Canadian teens/children 😔🙏
