Battlefield 3 is without a doubt a classic at this point. Despite its age, the game is still going strong in 2024 with a couple of full servers, at least in EU regions. BF3 will forever hold up as one of the best BF games :)

This (Bandar Desert), Death Valley and Albortz Moutains are my favorite maps to fly on, play in the tank destroyers or put "jeep stuff" on the quads and play chicken with armor .. 😅

Yeah this map really is huge, but I honestly liked it with 64 players. That way, it has hotspots but you're still able to go unnoticed in the outskirts 😄

you shouldnt even compare bf3 to 2042, bf3 is an all time favorite by the majority of bf fans. I may be wrong but before bf3 there is bf2 and bfbc2. and ofcourse we aint forgetting the OG 1942
@@aisakataigaa Oh..Battlefield 2..Took 3k hours of my life, no worries. Still got BF3 installed too. And BC2 just great maps as well. And yes, i shouldn't compare it. 2042 isn't a Battlefield game anyways. EA/DICE just slapped "Battlefield" as game title, for obvious reasons ;-) I really had high hopes next BF too be BF2 or 3/4 Remastered, but...Anyways.

Tried everything to play this, always get "Kicked for 0 Minutes, no Packet Flow, tried every Browser, Firewall Settings, updating Punkbuster etc

In my region there’s always at least a couple of servers actually full, while some have 50-60 players. Some 48-player servers are also full 😄

On the pc there are still plent of servers that are filled with players.
Especially the servers with the "Metro 2014" 64 players map.
Those are always full.
yeah suree when i can get punkbuster working and battelog works with steam. i swear ea has done nothing to make bf3 to work on steam its rediculous

Lmgs with 6 × scope would make snipers useless so I understand why they didn't include it. Not that I would mind if they did.
Support class gets unlimited ammo so to give them basically a full auto sniper rifle would make them super op
I have to say that i can not agree with that title of this video.
After a few years playing other BF games i came back to BF3 again and i had the least fun here than ever before.
I am definitely not just a casual player but this game at this point is just a dying simulator. You get 3-tapped from assault rifles from no matter the distance. People always know exactly where you are while you are hiding for a moment even when you are not shooting. I only see servers with full lvl 100 players and half of them are completely tryhards which have a k/d of 50-5 in the first half of the match. You get killed by base camping choppers 5 times in a row or you get spawned right next to an enemy tank that instantly blasts you away. This game is just a disappointment for me compared to what it once was. With this i even have to go full tryhard myself to get a good k/d.
So what is this server in this video? I want to know! I wish i had such normal and easy enemies!

I’m not into it either, and tanks/helis seem pretty broken, but each to their own I guess :)
