Huh? They already have PS+. I've been playing a lot of free games on extra, like for a while now. The only thing they don't have is day and date. Which is fine, day and date will just de-value the game and won't make money for the developers. I'm fine buying games to support devs. And playing older games in PS+.

But it's only available to Plus Premium members, no? Will continue to Remote Play on the Portal from the PS5 unless this somehow becomes accessible for the lower tiers.
@@raikirik703probably just a bonus to those with premium since if you have premium all those games are already available if the console is on, so instead of going from server to console to device it’s just server to device. No premium would mean portal would work as it currently is.

Maybe some day you will be able to play your already purchased games. It is very likely that Sony will enable this function in the near future. Its obvious that Sony is on the way to create new distribution channels for the PS brand.
Hey Playstation, How about moving your games into Geforce Now, and then you don't have to worry about Beta Testing. Ultimately a win for Cloud Gaming!!!
I wouldn’t say Sony is about to cook them. Sony doesn’t have the infrastructure. This is Sony’s push to get ahead. Their cloud support comes from Amazon, Microsoft or a third party. Microsoft doesn’t have to pay anyone to get this done. They just build it. They are dragging their feet though
PlayStation Portal going for Unlimited Cloud Streaming without needing a PS5 console and having their exclusive games. To make it even more interesting, it seems to be available in more regions too. And you don't need a separate wireless controller, a streaming device or even a TV. For the price, this seems to be one of the best Cloud Streaming combos out there right now, especially that it basically includes a DualSense controller with it
Could be that is their next step to update the PC PlayStation Cloud Streaming app. Although most console games don't really run at 4K60, so the 1080p60 for the PlayStation Portal seems plenty
My only criticism is not everyone has a portal and they are expensive. It's a fine move but what Sony should do is develop a ps plus app for mobile and tvs
Yes please .....i actually would love to see the actual footage cuz the latency in fortnite (in india) from xcloud is bit high its very much playable but GeForce now does it better here somehow but the graphics ☠️ and stutter is the only thing keeping me away from using it (and no im not connected to vpn during the gameplay so thats not the problem) since PS is console too it will have better graphics than beginners or a tier above i just wanna see the latency though

Seems like the portal was a beta for Sony to test the market to see how high the demand was for them to have a handheld

Not all games can be streamed, so that’s wrong. You can only stream PS5 titles from the PS+ Premium list, that’s about 120 titles.

If you’re from India, expect latency. India is not on the supported list
