Wonder how long before someone develops a hearing aid to only boost selected frequencies for people who've worked in shops for years... I could write a program that would do it, but the hearing aid would be massive because I don't have the skills with tiny electronics. Something like this leads me to believe that something like this will become available in the near future, though also makes me want to know how they work.
