Pretty impressive for Mr. Daly to add that Mrs. Yates was not a mere garbage collector, but in fact the OWNER of her town's garbage/sanitation company. THAT probably turned some heads in the 1950s. One of the reasons What's My Line? was such an excellent show, it exposed the nation to countless career women among its guests and clearly displayed how society was starting to change.
Oh my What's My Line. I loved it as a kid, when I'd beg my mom to let me stay up to watch it on Sunday nights, in the mid 60's. I so loved Arlene Francis, thought Dorothy Kilgallen was kind of snotty and Bennett Cerf made bad puns, and tried to tease John Daly. Tony Perkins was an actor who I wasn't familiar with at the time. Just a very entertaining TV show which I followed way into the 70s after some of these people were gone. Thanks for posting this and hope to see more!!
Wonder what the ratio is per box ( amount of carboard) Per Oz of product? CONvenient pack ? Ah...the good old days??? Now , I buy the generic bran in a bag !
Several killers of Whales appeared in this show over the years. Presently most nations no longer permit such barbárie activity. Unfortunately, Japan and Norway still pursue whaling, using factory ships to process the catches in High seas. Both Nations are extremely advanced and rich. Pretending to be highly civilized , while preaching Moral and Political Values to the World.
Funny thing is, they're not the only "civilized" nations guilty of stuff like that. Switzerland from what I've read still eats dogs, similar to China (South Korea also traditionally did this barbaric practice, but public pressure in recent years has started to phase it out).

I just LOVE Gary Cooper... He's so handsome ❣️❣️❣️💜💜💜🥰🥰🥰
I love Gary Cooper❤
I would love a show like this now.
Me too. It would lower a lot of people’s blood pressure.
Whaling wouldn’t gain applause today…
Good seeing Coop so alive!
So funny how the guy in the Special K commercial pronounced protein. 😂
I loved this show. Gary Cooper seemed to be sort of bashful. I adored him. 😊❤
Isn't it more of a service than a product
Perkins was type cast and stalled his career by being so convincing in Psycho 😮
He was gay / bisexual and dangerous and career suicide in those days . He had a full successful broadway career .
It’s a service, not a product.
Love that man

Gary Cooper needed to disguise his voice more.
