There’s nothing more exciting than the morning of race day! I rode through Kansas on a cross country ride across America when I was 19 years old and it was amazing to get off on dirt roads and get off the highway away from cars! Congrats! You go, girl.
Love this girl ! She is so positiv, everytime laughing and she has such perfect teeth that her smile is amazing. Love her workouts from the first video on youtube with only a few hundred followers. I only found out very late who she is and what a big number in sports she is. All the best from Germany, Heather. Excuse my english ;-)
You are such an amazing athlete Heather, the content of your channel one of the best in the whole Triathlon world. Always waiting for an update about you! Great Performance, 202 200 on gravel is great.
I heard you crashed but didn’t realize how much the wheel exploded! they was an awesome day on the bike!! first year for me also and I can’t wait to do it again!!!
The best. Challenging yourself always love it and your partner in crime wattie holding down the gravel pit crew. The relationship you both have is awesome and amazing. Looking forward to next challenge and video.
What a race! I couldn’t believe you were second at half way in this stacked field, when I checked the race updates. Awesome ride! and the mens sprint finish… what an epic race. It’s awesome how EF Eduction now have the alt tour for their riders, bringing world tour talent straight in to the gravel scene. Great video guys 👊🏻
Thank you so much🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🏼❤Unbound was a blast and it was so fun to checkout the scene....the gravel spirit is awesome! So cool to see all the Pro Tour riders hitting the scene thanks for watching and supporting our channel, we really appreciate it 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Unreal, hopefully 🙏 next year a dry hot day, you could,,,,,, win 🥇 this race, definitely one to target in the future 💪 Well done again, great team work 👍

Thank you so much Jim🙏🏼🙏🏼 The big 3, Tri, Trail, Gravel.....all in the same wheelhouse and all great sports/lifestyles. Thank you so much for watching and for supporting our channel ....means a lot to Wattie and I 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤
Well done! Just noticing, about 3500' climbing first 120 miles, but then about 5000' last 80! That's not flat. That dang luck factor has to be next level agonizing and exciting. Trying to maximize the benefits of drafting on surfaces and conditions as that is something else. There must be such respect and confidence within the groups.
Thanks so much Gary🙏🏼🙏🏼 Yeah that course is fr sure not flat and the last 80 are a beast💪🏼 Gravel racing is next level fun, exciting.....so much to learn in terms of equipment, tactics, etc. Can't wait for the next one🤗🤗🤗🤗 Thanks so much for watching and for supporting our channel, means so much to Wattie and I🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
amazing job Heather!! Do you think you would use power in gravel or not really? you need to ride with Ian one time for a creme ride next time you are in NH/VT area
Heather you are amazing!! 200miles... wow just wow... I just recently added one gravel tour per week to my training plan (30-60KM) and my road cycling has improved by a lot...it is sooooo much harder but sooo much more fun!!! are you riding tubeless btw?
Thank you so much Lisa🤗🤗🤗🙏🏼❤ Gravel riding will really help with that cycling strength keep up the great work! Yes, I ride tubeless both on road and off road.
Gravel racing is fun as you are learning! Just curious if you can leverage the strength aspects as a result of the gravel riding to help offset the swimming time loss when competing at Tri? This Fall/Winter you might be doing more double-Lemmon or Everest'ing of Lemmon attempts to build the strength to turn even bigger gears for a +mph advantage. Taking 5 seconds out of every mile at Kona results in just over nine minutes time advantage. (Question is how to do it without compromise to your run itself.)
Hi Mark🤗🤗🤗Gravel is so much fun, and lots of learning on the equipment side👌🏼For now I'm using gravel to build strength and to enjoy getting out on my bike and exploring new routes. In terms of swimming.....Fuck Swimming!😂😂😂in all seriousness I've spent so much time working on my swim over the years and have had super minimals gains+compromised my bike and run. That being said, I'm getting back to basics and making sure I'm cycling and running at my best while limiting my losses in the water. In terms of compromising the run with bike strength work.....its always a push and pull that we all try and manage. I've always gone for the tougher, hillier courses where it come down to bike and run strength instead of pure speed. Thanks so much for watching and supporting our channel🙏🏼
I'm loving gravel....so much to learn in terms of equipment, tactics, etc. Can't wait for the next one🤗🤗🤗🤗 I'm still a huge triathlon lover, I'm just enjoying the new challenges that gravel brings. Thanks so much for watching and for supporting our channel, means so much to Wattie and I🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
